Very disappointing experience
From the beginning, it all went wrong: My room did not have any air conditioner, and the bed was on the bed, though I couldn’t even climb on it So I got a room changed and that room did not have any air conditioner and no phone either. It didn’t work. Many nights, I had hotel guests, drunk under my windows and the wee hours in the morning, screaming and singing … I tried all four restaurants possible on these premises and next-door and you never single Restaurant. The food was very mediocre. And of course I chose the wrong season because mid June is horrible, hot and humid and nowhere to go in the whole hotel to cool off anyway I will never go back

Worst all inclusive I have ever stayed at !!!
There’s no escaping the 30 C heat. The AC in the bedrooms are all set to 18 C. The first room only went down to 28 C. They put us in the newer tower where the AC only went down to 25.5 C… unbearable, sweat pouring off our bodies, no sleep. Then theres’the pools. Raggeaton music blaring soooo loud at each end, ea ch bar, each restaraunr, each beach bar, no escape from the pounding base, so annoying. Rey old paint peeling off walls, be warned, DO NOT GO HERE !!!!!!

Skip this hotel. Not a 4 or 5 star as they claimed
Not worth it. Waste of vacation. 2 star hotel at best. There are better hotels elsewhere. READ MY LIPS. SKIP THIS HOTEL.

We had a good time, but eh🤷🏻♀️
Checkin: there was only one person checking everyone in and we waited in line for almost 45 minutes (we only had 3 people ahead of us) Room: we booked a crown plus suite because it was a nicer, newly renovated room. The description says it will either be “ocean front or partial ocean view”. PARTIAL was the key word there. For a resort on the beach, we were still very far from the ocean and could barely see it over the other buildings, so the description was misleading. The room was nice although the bed wasn’t super comfortable! Restaurant food: it was easy to make reservations and they were always available. the Mexican restaurant was the only one I would have gone back to. However, one night, we ordered “prime rib” from the special menu and the steak was so poorly cooked. It was like someone cooked it in a pan full of oil, and it was an off gray color…not what you expect from a nice cut. This happened at both the Mediterranean restaurant and the international one. The salads were bad, the yellowtail at the Japanese place was bland….i could go on. It’s sad, but I usually only liked one dish at each restaurant (out of 4 courses). Part of the reason I picked this resort was because it had more of a variety in restaurants, but the quality of the food and ingenuity of the dishes at the restaurants was not there for me. That said, I liked the buffet and the fresh fruit was amazing. Pool: there were fun activities and the people and entertainment were so fun and lively! I loved being in the adults-only section. We always found spots at the pool, but there were plenty at the beach too. Beach: the beach is clean and there are fun activities you can easily book impromptu there too (massages, fishing, sailing, excursions, etc.) Gym: this gym is completely falling apart. My husband and I worked out every day and I had to compete for the ONE working treadmill. The other two were broken and the third looks close to breaking as well. The cable machines are either broken or close to breaking too. We were able to get good workouts with some creativity, but it would have been nice to have access to equipment that isn’t broken! We even got scratched and bled from cable wire that was showing… staff: overall, very friendly! Everyone was so nice, and each restaurant employee was very attentive! Location: it is super convenient and only 10 minutes from the airport. Very handy for a quick trip! My reason for not wanting to recommend to friends: the restaurant food was not good

Vacation Getaway
Our trip to Golden Crown was in May/June 2025, we usually stay 2 weeks. The weather this time was beautiful, we have been coming at this time for several years now. The people at the hotel are very helpful when you need something. Unfortunately this time I was served some food that did not agree with me. All the managers at the restaurants went out of their way to make sure I was ok with the food choices for the remainder of the trip. The concierge Mario Zamudio took over & made sure I was satisfied with our arrangements for the balance of our vacation. He met with us several times to make sure we were still enjoying the hotel. All hotels should have someone who is as thoughtful & kind as Mario, he was great! We hope to see all the wonderful people at Crown in December. C & M St Louis MO USA
