  Memorable moments

  We recently stayed here to celebrate our honeymoon and opted for a swim-out room with a king bed in the Preferred section. Check-in was quick and easy, and our room was conveniently located near the Preferred Lounge, which made everything feel extra special and accessible. Our first night, we went to the French restaurant, which had been our favorite during a previous stay three years ago. Unfortunately, this time it didn’t live up to our memories. We were the only ones dining inside, and the food came out so quickly that it didn’t feel fresh. The crème brûlée was especially disappointing. We actually ended up ordering room service later that night because we were still hungry. During the day, we enjoyed the Preferred adults-only pool. It was quiet and relaxing, with excellent and friendly service from the attendants. The only drawback was some debris in the water and the pool depth—it was a bit too deep for me (I'm 5'1"), which made lounging in the water a little less enjoyable. That said, the hot tub in the evening was lovely. We were able to get reservations at the hibachi restaurant through our amazing butler, Jansel, who went above and beyond for us during our stay. He helped resolve a debris issue in our swim-out pool quickly and even managed to find me a pineapple to drink from—something not even offered on-site! Truly exceptional service. One of our best dining experiences was lunch at the Preferred-only Seaside Grill. Our server Yocaima was an absolute highlight—bubbly, joyful, and full of positive energy. She even convinced us to return for breakfast just to see her again! The steak we had at lunch was one of the best we’ve ever had, though when we returned the next day, it was sadly not the same quality. We also dined at the Italian restaurant. The pasta and entrees were good, though the pizza left a lot to be desired. We had Rosanna as our server one night, and she was incredibly kind and attentive. When we came back the next evening, a different server helped us (also very nice), but Rosanna saw us and remembered the wine I’d ordered the night before—such a sweet touch. We also met Alexandra at the Italian restaurant and later at the buffet; she remembered our names after just one interaction, which really impressed us. At the buffet, Daniel was another standout. He was extremely attentive, kind, and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. And our room was kept spotless by Estella, who even surprised us one evening with a lovely turndown setup that felt very romantic and thoughtful. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay overall. I’m not sure we would choose a swim-out room again, mainly because the sun didn’t reach our pool area much. But being Preferred absolutely enhanced our experience and was well worth it. We plan to return, next time with our kids, as there’s so much of the resort we still haven’t explored. Despite its size, the resort never felt overcrowded, which we really appreciated. Thank you to everyone who made our honeymoon special—we’ll be back!

  The food, the people, the staff it was all amazing 0 complaints over here. This resort why very big and beautiful. With multiple food choices. The views were amazing and the service was the best I’ve ever experienced.

  The stay is worth the beach alone!

  The beach is amazing! Of all the beaches in Punta Cana, Macao beach is the only one without sargassum. We also enjoyed the lazy river early in the morning because we were the only ones floating around at that time. The food was also amazing!!! We did not have one bad meal while we were staying here. The gym could afford to have at least two seats of dumbbells though because the sets normally used by woman needed to be used by multiple woman all at the same time. Overall, great resort with multiple pools to service everyone.

  Very Romantic reunion”

  Amaury A Hello thank you for giving me the opportunity to express my views of Dreams Macao Beach in punta Cana DR. It is worthy to mention that I went to Drems Macao to Celebrate my 50Th Anniversary Golden wedding. And I was accompanied by a group of approximately 25 people from different States. Washington, Florida, Massachusetts, New York, Baltimore , New Jersey, are experiences was a unique, I have been in many places including Cruise and the service it was not even close to Dreams Macao. The people and staffers performed highly skilled, very pleasant and attractive. What I like about the resort was that it is very family oriented. I can point out the service that my son received from her daughter my granddaughter. In the days care she met with La Negra which take care her. And she said how well she was treated my son met her coordinator,Jhony Tejeda well trained ashore my son tha she will be well care. The entertainment group for the resort was very Charismatic and pleasant , like Diana Bailarina , even though she is very jhone I found her very capable, she is a great dancer. I applaud the director of entertainment Jose Tolentino in my view he have a very good actors, I like the veracity’s of show And the technique to during the day invited the guess.that motivated me to attend every night. My mayor Eriberto was consistent, every morning he notified my schedule for the day Which I found azame . The bailarinas Performed very nice . Barbie, Betty Boop, Chao Luis, finally the only complaint is that the Seafood restaurant clause some nights an people la seafood all the time. Thank for this opportunity. Note by dose-way this is the first time I booked in this place.

  Heaven on earth

  Where do I start…. This place, in both myself, and my partners opinion, is 5 star! Starting with the staff, they cannot do enough for you, what ever you need, they will sort for you. Special shoutout to the team over at the poolside bar Barracuda, they were amazing! If you’re worried about watered down drinks, they’re not. However, you can always ask for the top shelf alcohol in your drinks and they’ll give you it no problem. Entertainment staff were great, they make sure everyone is included. If you’re not up for getting involved in the poolside activities, they aren’t pushy at all. We had a top floor room in Block 5 however we’re moved due to a leak from a thunderstorm, this was done quickly and painlessly. Bell boys came up and helped us move all of our stuff too. Really easy. The food was amazing, we eat at all of the restaurants and was always satisfied with what we were eating. The buffet is fresh and clean too. They ask that you sanitise your hands before entering each restaurant which is great, definitely helps keep illness down! The only downside of the resort is that the hotel shops are extremely expensive. $12 for a packet of chips is just ridiculous. Please make sure you take enough sunscreen as a bottle in the shop is $40. It’s crazy. I see people calling the sea ‘surfers paradise’ if you’re a surfer, don’t get your hopes up. It’s relatively calm, Atleast it was for the 11 nights we were there. I’m not completely comfortable in the sea however I spent a lot of time in there and at times, was the furthest person out so definitely not that bad. A positive is that there was next to no seaweed too. Overall, we had a 10/10 holiday and we are already planning on returning May 2026z Thanks to the team at Dreams Macao for a perfect holiday.
