A great vacation
We just spend a week at the resort and it was an amazing time. We went for the beach and the relaxation and it did not disappoint. While it's not a beach to take long walks on (or even short ones), it is beautiful and the ocean is amazing. In speaking with some of the managers there, they noted how the owners want the beach to be a place just to relax - so there are no activities such as jet skis out in the ocean or even paddle boards. We certainly appreciated that. We stayed in a one room villa and it was very nice and well appointed and the outside private pool (more than a plunge pool) was amazing. The three restaurants on site were very good for dinner and lunch at the beach is standard beach fare amped up just a little. The staff works hard and it shows. Special call outs to Wilson at the beach who always made sure our Presidente was very cold and for bringing great energy to his job. And to Daniel at breakfast who made every morning that much better. Lena in the spa gave a great massage. If you're looking for a higher-end resort to just unwind and relax this is a great place.

Memorable Anniversary Vacation!
We had a wonderful stay at Eden Roc Cap Cana! The beach was top notchb and the resort was beautiful! We were under the wonderful direction/ guidance of Orlando during our stay! We lounged on the beach and had great service from Gustovo & Wilson! We took a fantastic Sushi/Cevechi cooking class led by Chef Luis and accompanied by Milton! The food was amazing at each restaurant where we had great service from everyone including Clara, Milton, Yonnathon! Thank you Eden Roc and all those who work their to make it a wonderful anniversary trip that my wife and I will never forget!

Great experience
Service here is amazing! My favorite waiter Wilson made our stay wonderful! Always happy and effective the staff here are above and beyond. Teury is also one of the best waiters in the towel area! Food is amazing, I highly recommend this hotel is worthy the price, good quality people, food and service

Beautiful but terrible service
Beautiful golf course and beach but the service and food is terrible . This is our third trip to the resort. The second one this year and they are perpetually worse each time. So this will be our last visit. We are going to check out the new Saint Regis that is opening in April or May that is next to the golf course Punta Espada as well And will be new

Terrible trip
Well it started off fine but to say that it continued as such would be a gross fabrication. The first day our ocean front suite had a massive ceiling leak in the AC condensate drain lines. Being tin the construction and development business I know what it was and this is and should always be a routine maintenace chance whether in a hotel or rental apartment building which they never checked so it poured water down into the suite. Then to top it off there was not hot water. So they moved us to what’s they tried to say was an upgraded private bungalow. It was nothing more than a thatched roof shack away from our 30 member family vacation. And then gave us a golf cart where the front axle was falling off. Then to add insult to injury we went for a mediocre dinner only to return to a “SHACK” where the lights would not turn off to go to sleep and kept flashing on and off all night so to say we never slept was a harsh reality. They finally fixed our original suite and we moved now for the second time back. Did they offer us any compensation for this disaster??? NO>>>> they simply credited us the first nights stay, REALY????? For an alleged 5 star resort they need to lear more about customer satisfaction and doing the right thing. Well to understand we spent a small fortune eating all meals there at the hotel tipping generously, but yet they had one more almost tragic event in store for us. While they asked us all if we have any food allergies which some did, my nephew specifically filled out a form in advance telling them that he had a severe NUT allergy. So when he went to get some chocolate ice cream by the pool he even went one step further since his wife is a medical doctor, to ask again if the ice cream had any nuts they in front of witnesses said NO!!!! Well guess what it did and went into a sever allergic reaction which his medical doctor luckily carries epinephrine with her for him. So after the treatment and a few hours of recovery he was back among us. All in all there is a St Regis being built next door and i can only hope that it is of higher quality and more customer concern as this hotel I will never return to ever. By the way it is unfortunate since its. A nice setting but the hotel is howling its age and there is deferred maintenace everywhere including the steel support beams for the balconies that appear to be delaminating. They need to shut it down and rehab it.
