    Graduation celebration

    I had a great time here at the resort. I want to give you a shout out to Shelly for being so polite and helpful. The people in the restaurants were very professional and went overboard to make sure we were completely satisfied. I love my stay and I will be returning in November.

    Here’s a balanced and honest review that we hope will help fellow travellers. We arrived at Grand Palladium feeling a little nervous after reading mixed reviews online. It turned out to be a beautiful vacation, and we’re already talking about coming back. As a well-travelled family, we can confidently say this is one of the cleanest hotels we've ever stayed in. restaurant was deep-cleaned with steam every night around 11 p.m., and even the bins are cleaned regularly. The attention to cleanliness is impressive — top marks in this department. Who is this resort best for? A word of advice: If you’re travelling without children, check USA school holiday dates before booking. During our second week, the resort filled up quickly as the U.S. schools went on break. The atmosphere shifted from peaceful luxury to more of a summer camp vibe — lots of kids, high energy, max capacity, and even extra sunbeds brought up from the beach to accommodate the crowds, but it definitely changed the experience. Dining – Don’t miss the À La Carte Restaurants The à la carte restaurants are a must — be sure to book ahead. Entertainment – Worth the Trip alone. Highlights include: Friday night Bob Marley tribute – Absolutely phenomenal. Steel band, what a display of energy and talent!!!!!!! One NOT TO BE MISSED Sunday night reggae band at the Infinity Bar – fun, energetic, atmospheric, and beautifully done. These two nights were so memorable that they’re a big reason why we’re already thinking about returning. A special mention to Kiwi, who took the time to chat with us, share insights about local culture, and answer all our questions (sometimes for nearly an hour!). And not forgetting - Sonic and King (Omari and Carlan) who bring great energy and make you feel part of the fun every night without fail ! Now for a word of warning — excursions in Jamaica run on Jamaican time! What’s advertised as a 6–8 hour tour could easily turn into 13.5 hours, and a 4–6 hour outing might end up being 12 hours. Even the locals joke about it, but it’s worth knowing in advance to manage expectations. The overall staff were friendly, warm, and helpful. Special thanks to Ricky at the Pool Bar — truly one of a kind. Take the time to say hello; you won’t regret it. Final Thoughts: Thanks, Grand Palladium, and the entertainment team !!! This trip left us with wonderful memories, new friends, and a strong desire to return in a couple of years. Whether it’s your paradise or just a sunny version of Butlins, there’s definitely something special here.
