Home Sweet Home
This was our fifth visit to HRLC as Hall of Fame members and it was phenomenal as usual. This time we took our daughter’s college friends which created a different experience for us than with our family alone. Weather was great (hot and humid but we expected that), food remained excellent especially at Toro and Umo, and the servers all around were extremely accommodating. Special mentions to our butlers, Chetan and his new partner, Edson, the entire Legendary pool staff to include Reese, Felix, Sergio, Diego, Manny, Gonzalo, and restaurant staff members at the Market: Encarnacion, Lolo, Jessie, Erica. Thank you for your dedicated service and catering spirit to our family. We so look forward to returning sometime. The swim up suites were special and provided us with nighttime swims after dinner. What a total luxury for the entire week!

Poolside service from Armando
We had a great week at the beach, and Armando, our poolside waiter, made it even better. He was friendly, attentive, and took amazing care of our big family the entire time. From keeping our drinks coming to making sure we had everything we needed, he went above and beyond. His great attitude and service truly made our trip more enjoyable!

Great experience!
We had a great experience at the Hard Rock Los Cabos! The staff was the most friendly of any resort we’ve ever stayed at- they were very attentive, quick to help, and overall seemed happy! Dustin was the best! He sent us the events calendar daily and helped us with an anything we needed. It is a family friendly resort, the only downfall was it can take awhile to get a drink at the pool, a lot of kids ordering virgin pina coladas! The best restaurant was Los Gallos and Zen!

For fun
Lively place-watch out for add-ons. Adult pool was awesome. HS graduation trip with a large group. $$$ but all inclusive is worth it

Overpriced and underwhelming
Unless you’re a boozer, avoid these all inclusive Mexican hotels, particularly Hard Rock. Hour delayed check in as their “system was down”, and the a/c apparently as well (pretty sure a/c is only in rooms and weak at that). The low price guarantee is a scam - according to their criteria, we found two lower prices in the correct 48 hours from reservation being made, and from websites they listed as acceptable. They honored the HIGHER OF THE TWO SUBMITTED which was a 5% discount, but you should get the found lower price AND an upgrade if available according to their website. Upgrades were definitely available as they offered it to us, but when I told them according to the website, the cheaper price we found should also offer an upgrade. They acted like they had no idea what I was talking about and even when showing them the hard rock hotel policy about it, they denied it. Over the course of the last month before arriving we called and we sent no less than 4 emails all of which were ignored. I gave up and thought certainly when we arrive we can mention it, and they would probably honor it, but not even close. So gave up on that and just let it go. As we were still waiting for our room at 4 PM and hungry from traveling all day, we went to their buffet. I’ve had better buffets at a school lunch cafeteria. All in all every option that we experienced during the week was very low quality food. Much better food at Carnival Cruise line - which is not known as top-notch themselves. Save your money, don’t go Hard Rock, go elsewhere.
