fabulous time at the resort! entertainment staff and our butlers Lety and Oscar are the best
Oscar and Lety were fabulous butlers! At the members pool Felix, sergio, Aaron, and Angel were awesome! Guilermo mixed up awesome drinks with a smile and developed a couple new ones for me. The resort is always clean and friendly. The new restaurant Umo is great!

The best place to stay in Cabo
The resort was amazing as always. Our butlers, Chetan and Edson made our stay the very best ever. They were always on top of everything you could ever want or ask for. I cannot recommend them enough!

Hard Rock Hotel Stay: Mixed Feelings
Stayed September 7–14 The property itself is fantastic—tropical landscaping, spotless rooms, strong A/C, and our butler Danny was friendly and attentive. Poolside service was reliable, towels and drinks arrived promptly, and the main pool area is perfect for lounging 5–6 hours a day. However, from the moment we arrived the pushy timeshare presentations tainted the experience. A 20-minute intro on check-in was followed the next day by a 90-minute pitch from “Paul,” who dangled “excursion advantages” only to demand an $80K, $120K, or $200K cash-only package. He even bragged about his upcoming trip to Barcelona and Madrid—and insulted us when we politely declined. Management should rethink allowing that level of unprofessionalism. Food was solid across buffet and à la carte options, but the bars serve watered-down, fake-tasting liquor that left us feeling ill. If you’re here for an all-inclusive boozy vacation, don’t bother—you’ll pay extra for bad drinks. Every activity carries a steep price tag—$59 USD for mediocre bowling, pay-per-use spa treatments, overpriced shore excursions—and legendary pool parties, which looked fun, actually bar rock-royalty guests from entry. Nightlife dies by 10:30 PM, with no free evening entertainment. We upgraded to Rock Royalty expecting perks, but the “lounge” is just a basic meeting room and promised restaurant or event access never materialized. For true pampering, you’re better off booking a swim-up deluxe room elsewhere. Beautiful setting, but hidden costs, scammy sales tactics, and fake liquor make Hard Rock Hotel far from worth the hype. Feedback and Concerns Regarding Our Stay at Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos
Dear General Manager, I am writing to provide feedback regarding our family’s current stay at Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos (September 13th–19th, 2025). Although we have enjoyed certain aspects of the property, we have also encountered several challenges that have diminished the overall quality of our experience. I am sharing these observations early in our stay in the hope that they can be addressed proactively. 1. Air Conditioning in Common Areas We have found that air conditioning is inconsistent throughout the resort, with many common areas inadequately cooled. This has made it difficult to comfortably enjoy spaces designed for relaxation. 2. Restaurants Without Proper Cooling The absence of functioning air conditioning and ventilation in restaurants such as Ciao, Zen, and Toro has been particularly concerning. Dining in these conditions has been uncomfortable and not in line with the level of hospitality we expected. 3. Zen Restaurant – Food Quality & Service Our visit to Zen was disappointing for several reasons: • Protein portions were unusually small, and in our group of six, three guests received significantly less than others. Unfortunately, this discrepancy was not corrected after being raised. • The preparation relied heavily on margarine, soy sauce, and oil, which compromised both flavor and balance. • Combined with the lack of cooling in the restaurant, the overall dining experience was unsatisfactory. 4. Dinner Dining Options We were surprised to learn that the resort does not offer an all-you-can-eat buffet option for dinner. For a property of this scale, we feel that at least one buffet restaurant in the evenings would provide families with greater flexibility and convenience. 5. Food Variety in Buffets While the buffet offerings have been satisfactory, the variety of red meat options is limited. Expanding this selection would enhance the dining experience and better align with the expectations associated with the Hard Rock brand. 6. Kids Club Activity On Saturday, we brought our children to the Kids Club for the scheduled scavenger hunt. Regrettably, the activity did not take place as intended. Staff initially cited a lack of participants, and once additional children joined, it became clear that preparations had not been made. As this activity is only offered once weekly, our children will not have another opportunity to participate, which was quite disappointing. 7. Timeshare Sales Lastly, we have noticed frequent and persistent attempts by some staff members to promote timeshare sales. While we understand this is part of the business model, the approach feels intrusive and detracts from the guest experience. A more subtle and guest-focused strategy may be more appropriate. We selected Hard Rock Los Cabos for its reputation as a premier destination for families seeking a high-quality vacation experience. While certain elements have met our expectations, the issues outlined above have left us concerned about the remainder of our stay. I would be grateful if you could look into these matters and ensure that the rest of our visit reflects the standards we associate with the Hard Rock brand. Thank you for your time and attention. We traveled to Hard Rock Los Cabos with my family, two of which are Legendary VIP members. We were invited to attend welcome reception in the lobby when we arrived, which was really nice after a long trip. Overall, this is an amazing resort and we lucked out the weather was gorgeous. The room was well appointed, updated and we had a great view of the ocean. The all inclusive property offered many options, food was delicious, bartenders catered to our every drink. We watched a really great Michael Jackson show and had so much fun with Karaoke. The Rock Spa was so calming and relaxing! We experienced a couple of problems, but the staff responded to our requests promptly each time. There did seem to be a problem with the air conditioning in several restaurants making it uncomfortable to eat. A special thank you to several team members at Hard Rock: Rodrigo, thank you for daily greetings and arranging our room and golf. You are a gem! Wendy, our room attendant for your towel creations and leaving our room clean and stocked with everything we asked for. Manny Madina, waiter at Los Callos for your meticulous attention to our meals, even so late at night, Dani for your compassion to make our experience perfect. For the staff at the Espresso Cafe, best coffees ever. A perfect men’s haircut for my companion by Emi and relaxing incredible spa treatments with Yaris and Natalie. Grateful for all of you who made our vacation so special! Everyone at Hard Rock Los Cabos was incredibly friendly and welcoming and treated us like family. Smiles and happy greetings everywhere….our experience at this resort was top notch!
