    Failed Check-in & Check-out Process, but in-between great.

    My family and friends stayed at the Hard Rock Los Cabos from October 4th to October 7th. I'd like to start with the positives: 1. The food was phenomenal, particularly at the steakhouse and the Mexican restaurant. The dishes were flavorful and tender, especially the steaks, which rival those at renowned American steakhouses like Mastro's. 2. We enjoyed the multiple pools with swim-up bars. We never had to fight for a lounge chair or get up early to secure one. 3. The service was impeccable, as always in Mexico. The servers were attentive both in the restaurants and poolside. 4. Housekeeping did an excellent job servicing our room daily, replenishing all essentials and keeping everything tidy. However, there were some negatives that significantly affected our overall experience: When I booked our reservation directly through Hard Rock, I selected a king bed because our young toddler could sleep with us, as she is too big for a crib. Upon checking in, the front desk agent did not inform us that we would be assigned to a room with two double beds instead. It should be standard practice to disclose the bedding type. After a long trip, we were eager to get to our room, change, and rest, but we couldn't because of the bed situation. I called the front desk to request a change, but my request was denied. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he mentioned they needed to clean a handicap-accessible room for us if we wanted to move. I pointed out that we had booked a king bed and confirmed it through their website. He said he would call back, but feeling exhausted, I decided to take matters into my own hands since we were traveling with another family that had requested two beds and received a king. I approached them, and they were happy to help us switch. I called the supervisor back to inform him of the switch, and he agreed. After reprogramming our keys for the new room, we discovered that the keys didn’t work. At this point, we were extremely frustrated. We had to go back to the front desk to redo the keys, all while carrying our luggage. Eventually, we managed to switch rooms, but we received no compensation or even an apology. Fast forward to check-out day. We had planned everything meticulously, scheduling a shuttle bus for 10 am to return to the airport. We intended to have room service breakfast in bed with our toddler so we could pack smoothly and on time. Around 8 am, I received a call from the front desk or a staff member instructing us to pack quickly and leave as soon as possible because rain was approaching, which could block the road to the airport. In a panic, we hurried to pack everything to make our flight. When we reached the lobby at 9 am, both the front desk and the bell staff assured us there was no advisory and that the shuttle would indeed leave at 10 am. I was furious. We rushed out without having breakfast—only managing to grab something at the café since it was too late for room service. I still don’t understand why we were told to evacuate our room so urgently. Poor service all around. I would like to hear back from management, but no one has reached out to me yet.

    Amazing 🤩

    Had an amazing trip. From the front desk to the servers everyone was awesome. Raul at the desk was very personable and welcoming. Great job to him and his crew. My assistant DUSTIN was AWESOME. He insured my stay was memorable and catered to my families needs. Great personality. Great communication throughout the entire stay. And ALWAYS made himself available and present. Thank you soooo very much Dustin I’ll definitely be looking for you next time. Last but not least was Julian our host at the wedding. Soooo much energy, so friendly and super hilarious… he is an absolute sweetheart made our day we all love him. Great job Hard Rock on a great well done job. Thank you !!! Definitely will return 5 stars ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Fun resort to stay!

    I attended a wedding at the Hard Rock Resort in Cabo San Lucas… It was great!!! The atmosphere was geared to music which I loved! I had the best butler ever… his name was Bicri. He worked very hard to make our stay very enjoyable!
