The show kitchen is the restaurant’s anchor, bringing energy, warmth and elegance.

    The Asian
The resort’s signature restaurant is located in a secluded place that creates a warm, elegant and intimate atmosphere. Under the expertise of Thai Chef San, the menu showcases the best flavors of Southeast Asia. Guests can select from three specialties: sushi, hot pot and dim sum.

Nice location and has amazing sunset view from lobby!

Nice location for a couple nights when arriving or leaving town. The location can’t be beat. You are able to walk to town/marina area and also there is walkway over the street to a nice local mall with shopping, grocery store, food court and a very cute French bakery that has the best breakfast and coffee for an excellent price! Checking in and out can be a bit tedious and be sure to check your bill! We did find an error on our first stay with a bar/restaurant charge that was on our room with a different name. The rooms are decent, but other than shampoo, conditioner and soap, there are no other amenities. Beds are comfortable. The Pool area is nice and large, with cabanas, plenty of chairs, but could use a little more shade in my opinion, it also has a swim up bar. There are several nice restaurant choices, but be sure to make reservations with the concierge.

A Perfect Base for Exploring Tahiti – Hilton Delivers in Every Way

I stayed at the Hilton Hotel Tahiti again during my 9-week work stint in June and July, and it truly is my home away from home. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of island luxury – this is the place to stay. I chose a residence room with a kitchenette, and it was absolutely ideal me and perfect for when family came. Having the flexibility to prepare some of our own meals while still enjoying the comforts and amenities of a high-end hotel made a big difference over a longer stay. There is a supermarket across the road with a convenient walkover. The room was spacious, has a massive walk-in wardrobe, a single bedroom, is beautifully maintained, and offered everything I needed for a relaxing, self-contained setup. The cleaning staff are the most friendly, smiling hard working beautiful people. What makes Hilton Tahiti stand out is the perfect balance between resort luxury and thoughtful convenience. The pool overlooking the ocean is spectacular – we spent many peaceful afternoons there soaking in the view of Moorea and drinking at the swim up bar, attended by a Mr Tahiti runner up! The poolside service was friendly and although the service is slower than what we are used to, you have to remember to switch to relaxed island time, it's cathartic. It wasn't a bad thing with perspective. The Heiva bar upstairs in the lobby and the balcony over looking the pool is the must go to place to watch the amazing sunsets. I gotta say, the Pina coladas are better upstairs! Happy hour is 1630-1830 on draft beer and a few basic cocktails. Tipping isn't a thing in Tahiti, so I never added it to the bill but I was sure to add some cash to the jar for the excellent staff. I had a few lovely dinners at La Strada, the hotel’s Italian restaurant – delicious food and excellent service in a refined but relaxed setting. Another highlight was the Asian breakfast buffet on Saturdays and the Tahitian breakfast on Sundays – both added an authentic and delightful touch to the mornings. The regular breakfast buffet throughout the week was also excellent, with a great variety of local fruits, fresh pastries, and hot options. San, the asian restaurant has a yummy Thai green curry which I'll be back for! The location is incredibly convenient – just minutes from the airport and Papeete, yet the hotel feels peaceful and secluded. A short 20 min walk into town. Whether you're beginning your Tahitian holiday or wrapping it up, Hilton Tahiti is the perfect base. We explored other parts of the islands during our 9-week stay, but always looked forward to returning here. There is a beautiful bird, a brown noddy that enjoys hanging out in the lobby. Although confronting to some, "Nono" as they call him brings a touch of real nature to greet you in the beautiful well presented lobby. The front desk staff are sure to help you out in anyway and make sure Nono never bothers anyone who's not bird friendly. I’ve stayed in several places across Tahiti, and none matched the comfort, elegance, and warm hospitality of the Hilton. The staff were consistently professional and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The GM is always visible and very approachable which I guess is helps as to why the hotel is so homely. They really become your family. I can't recommend Hilton Hotel Tahiti highly enough – it was a huge part of what made my long trip so easy, and I'm already missing the place even though I haven't left yet.

If you want 5 star stay somewhere else.

The Hilton Papeete, was barely on for a 5 star hotel. From the slow service at the bar to them forgetting to book our transport to the airport, they really need to step it up. This was our second stay in a week and neither was impressing. Stay at the Intercontinental.

    Disappointing end to holiday

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel. We called to book for a family with young children and booked rooms on different floors. The staff were rude and the facilities very dated. We stayed at the intercontinental on the way over and it was much better.

    this resort will WOW you

We stayed here 2 nights before going to Bora Bora. we arrived early and the staff was ready to greet us. this is one of the best resorts we have ever been to in the world, only surpassed by the place we stayed in Bora Bora. we enjoyed the food, the bar, the pool and the whole ambiance. we had a half day cabana at the pool as well. the dinners we chose were open air and AMAZING. the landscaping is amazing, i have nothing bad to say about this resort. the prices were reasonable, and the views are exceptional.
