  Honeymoon paradise

We had a wonderful stay at Hilton Moorea! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made our experience even more special. The amenities were absolutely beautiful, and the entire property was stunning. We highly recommend staying here and would absolutely love to come back!

Beautiful views, needs updating. Not 5 star luxury. Service so so

The location of the resort is stunning with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and lagoons. We stayed in a premium overwater bungalow and had great snorkeling right below the bungalow. We saw everything from fish, rays, sharks, octopus and eels right from our deck. The bungalow was clean and always tidied each day when we were out. The rooms and resort are a bit outdated and don't scream 5 star luxury resort. The service was also very very average. Some days better than others but at times it was very difficult to get a coffee in the morning at breakfast or a drink at bar near the beach/pool. Now for the food... Breakfast and lunch were so so but there were very few dinner options and the food had little flavor. Overall the dinner options I would say were bad. For a resort on the water you'd think there would be more fresh fish options, but we ended up going into town for those (Keiki, Rudys, Le Cooks). With a more elevated food scene it likely would improve the overall esthetic of the resort and again does not give 5 star luxury vibes. Overall we enjoyed our experience here and made the most of it, highly recommend the overwater bungalows but plan to go off resort for dinner. Good Value if you're there for the snorkeling and views? *We booked through Costco travel*

  Needs updating, not luxury

Pros: the snorkeling off the bungalows was incredible! So many fish, stingrays, octopus, etc. to see. The view was amazing overlooking the ocean and the lagoon, and what truly made this stay incredible. Additionally, the food in Maharepa was great! Worth the taxi ride to get fresh fish and support local businesses! Cons: food was bad. Not even so-so, just bad. Breakfast was fine, and the ceviche and poke bowl were really good from the beachside restaurant. Otherwise, we left every single night for dinner. Half the price and WAY better food off the resort! The staff wasn’t very friendly either considering the pricing tier of the resort. Had to ask multiple times for things, stingy on the towels, etc. Some days were better than others, and the rooms were always clean and spotless, which is was truly mattered to us. Overall: we loved the views, swimming, and restaurants in town (Keiki, Le Cooks, Rudy’s). The luxury overwater bungalows were what we came for, and they did not disappoint! Being able to relax on the beach and see the amazing sea life from our personal deck was the major highlight too! But otherwise, this is not a luxury resort like we had high hopes for. If we didn’t get a good deal on this stay, I would not recommend paying full price for staying here. The amenities need updating, the food is expensive (expected at the resort) but was not good at all, and the staff wasn’t always friendly which is expected at a high end resort (maybe a language barrier?). Loved the views and experience we had, but will likely not come back here.

  Mauruuru

Beautiful location, great water and snorkeling. Helpful staff. Multiple dining options which were covered by our costco travel package; all were okay and had large portions but the food was not especially good. Renting a car is advised as few things are walkable and taxis are sometimes hard to find when cruise ships are at the island. Some of the facilities are in a state of mild disrepair, e.g. the bathroom fixtures. We had a large termite swarm get into the room while we were at dinner, presumably because we left a light on and there's a large crack between the door and the frame. That was quite an adventure but was mostly just bad luck; it shouldn't happen unless you come in September or October anyway (we were here early October). Some exceptional highlights: breakfast and the spa. Our package included daily breakfast, which were the best meals we had in property. The spa itself is relatively small with a sauna and steam room that you need to book in advanced with your treatment. The massage was fantastic, a really nice treat to end the week long stay here

DONT stay here. They are RUDE and Unprofessional and the food is awful.

They are SO RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. We are gold members and wanted to visit the property while we were staying elsewhere on the island. The desk members AND the manager REFUSED to allow us to visit the beach, have lunch, and look at any of the empty rooms. I called their 1800 number and they even called the resort and told me they would make sure Hilton would allow us to visit, check out the rooms and the beach and they even refunded our other stay at another Hilton property by HALF! While I really appreciated their professional behavior, when I RE called Hilton Moorea the SAME Desk people AND Manager again refused me access!!! At this point I gave up and didn't bother to call the 1 800 # again. Read the reviews about the customer service even IF you are staying there as well as the sub par food. I think the property must be BEAUTIFUL but it's not worth it if the rest of the place is belligerent and lazy . So sad........
