    Relaxing stay!

    Another lovely stay at the Riu Monica. The best part as always are the staff. Nothing appears to be too much trouble. From check-in to departure everything went smoothly. There was a slight hiccup over our dinner reservation in the specialty restaurant but David handled the problem in a very professional manner, turning what could have been a negative into a positive experience. Two suggestions. Please upgrade the towels in the guest rooms and the addition of a couple of sun loungers on our huge 7th floor terrace would have been very welcome.

    Brilliant Hotel

    Lovely Hotel, excellent service and food. Lovely to walk into Nerja centre as its positioned so near. This is our third year staying at Riu Monica and I can honestly say it gets better each year. Thank you for such good service and making us feel so welcome.

    Can’t fault anything! Lovely, helpful staff, food varied and delicious. Room spotlessly clean, but best bit is the location. Perfect!

    Definitely a place to return to.

    Definitely a place we will return to in the future. Lovely location, friendly staff. Can't think of a negative point. All staff provide first class service especially Anna Belen,Sylvia and Viktor. Chefs are always happy so ensure you acknowledge them. Close to local bars and good bakery opposite although just as good are the hotel's own snacks bar during the day and comfortable bar at night. Entertainment each night is good for a hotel.

    Great hotel with icy pool

    Really enjoyed our stay at the Monica but a couple of minor adjustments would have been the icing on the cake. The outside pool needs the icy feel to be taken off it and a bit of English bacon at breakfast would have been very much appreciated.
