Exceeded our expectations! Great for kids!
simple room, but soooo roomy!! Space for 3 lg bags and a cot! The bath had lots of counter space. It was a 15 min walk to am buffet. Loved the fresh air & long walks together, plus we needed the steps! Beautiful grounds and kept impeccably clean. Kids club was great!

Easy for Celiac travellers
Gluten free They have a small section with a few items labelled gluten free. Including bread, waffles, pancakes and packaged cookies and brownies. But I always travel with a card, in Spanish, listing what I cannot eat. Every day someone would walk me around the budget and show what I could and could not eat. They also offered to make something separate if I liked. I ate well and safely all week. I respond violently to gluten so am confident in the safety there. Keep in mind that with it being a reduced waste facility they have large bowls of peanut butter, jam etc so not safe. They also had almond and soy milk. Facilities Large, clean, immaculate. Room is comfortable. Good counter space in bathroom with good quality hair dryer. Shampoo, conditioner & body wash are so-so. Glad I brought my own. There is a shuttle that acts like a bus with stops, but no elevators so request ground floor if needed. Beach Soft, white sand. Choppy water. Tons of seaweed. Relatively short. If beach is a top priority this may not be the best choice. Some people complained of coatis. Yes, there are a lot and if you are eating at the beach they are a nuisance. Otherwise I didn’t find them a big problem. Overall a wonderful resort that I would recommend

Not worth your time
I’ll start with the positive side the staff was friendly, the grounds were well kept, the room was clean. On the other side, to start, coatís are all over the beach, and by the pool going through chairs and and hunting for food. I am not a animal person and this made my stay very uncomfortable I had never seen this animal before and for that reason we spent most of the day not being able to enjoy the pool for fear of the animals. Very unsanitary and nobody on the staff does anything about this they look at you like what’s the problem. The problem is we did not come to be bombarded by wild animals. Then theirs this the hotel buildings have 3 floors, that’s 6 flights of stairs with No Elevators. Limited space on the 1st floor, I wouldn’t recommend it if you you have trouble walking or are a senior citizen. The resort has No Bottled Water, they put glass containers in your room of which they say they sanitize and tell you to go fill them up outside at the water dispenser. This made me very uncomfortable and I drank very little water while I was there for fear of getting sick. The first night we were there we went to take a shower and there was no cold water, both cold and hot was coming out hot water, so you couldn’t take a shower or you would get burned. I reported this to the hotel I was told something was wrong with the plumbing and it wasn’t fixed until the next evening . The food was mediocre. The best food was at the Japanese restaurant which you had to have a reservation for, we also ate at the steakhouse and it was terrible. I am a travel professional, and this was a three day trip that I have won at a trade show, if I had paid for this trip, I would have been trying to get my money back and go somewhere else to stay. I would be very cautious about staying here if I were you. I would not recommend it to my clients.

3rd time still a charm - Excellent service, Best Pools!
I visited to Iberostar Lindo in November 2016 & 2017 and March 2018 for a total of 21 days at this resort. Father & son trips, we really connected with the staff, the property and what the resort had to offer. I've visited more then my share of AL resort and this one still has a top 5 finish. What you need to know : Pros : -Excellent service -Best swimming pool I've seen at a resort -Good A la carte restaurants -Very clean resort -Excellent WIFI service -Top shelf liquor available on demand. (Matusalem Cuban Rhum to Don Julio Reserve to Grand Marnier... they have it). -Very safe location Cons : -Food at the buffet needs upgrading (I even talked to the French chef at buffet during lunch many times on the 3 occasions I was there about the issue. Still saw him prepare a shrimp linguini for the GM of the resort that looked 20+ times better that what offered at the pasta station for guest. -No special treatment for returning guest. Was promised some incentives in the room that was never delivered. This was a total let down for us as we visited more then 3 time in less than 2 years Special thanks again to my friend Gloria and L. 'the barman' at the Sports bar also Karla at the lobby that served us with a smile and tried her best to give us the best the resorts had to offer (Even a super deal at the Grand). You made our stays extra special and went the extra mile to make our trips awesome. This is why we may return fir a 4th time. Room tip : Block 51

Amazing place!!
My husband and I along with our 11 year old daughter just got back home from our week vacation. This was our first time in Mexico and first all inclusive resort. Hands down exceeded our expectations. We really can’t think of one negative thing to say. The food was great. We mostly stuck to the buffets as it was easier for us wirh our daughter who is very picky. We really enjoyed the variety of food. The entertainment was awesome and so were all the staff. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The pools were huge and amazing, and we spent the majority of the time in them. The beach was beautiful!!! It was mostly red flagged most days wirh a lot of waves but honestly we didn’t mind at all and found it to be very fun. There are so many different types of animals to see which for us was a big plus! We loved goimg for walks all around and spotting them all. The grounds are beautiful, absolutely so well taken care of. Everywhere’s you look there is something to catch your eyes. This was one of the best weeks and we had a wonderful time. We will be back!!
