Fabulous location strictly family hotel
Fabulous location, nice rooms, clean and spacious, water dispensers in the corridors, good food , the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our family holiday here. The only downside were the guests, so many rude inconsiderate people made the public areas a bit of a challenge.

Amazing family holiday! We will be coming back!
I never normally take the time to write reviews, but this hotel deserves one! Just spent the most wonderful week here with my mum and 2.5 year old. Food was amazing, best all inclusive I’ve been too by far (we did half board) including many yummy vegetarian options. Some incredible puddings! Shout out to the chefs! Smoothies at the bar were really good! Location 10/10. Right on a gorgeous sandy beach with the clearest warm water to swim in. A lot of initial shallow water which is great for kids. By the kids pool there is a re use box, so check there for any beach bits before purchasing ( we didn’t know about this until after we had brought parasol etc, but then left there for others to use, I think this is great as someone else can enjoy!) strip of your classic holidays shops across the road, small supermarket for basics. Pools were great, shallow pool for small kids in the main pool area. Some of the classes looked really fun. The kiddies pool area was also great, splash park and inflatable dome for the slightly older ones. Sunbeds and parasols weren’t too much of a problem. You definitely need to be down getting one before 9am, most people did put towels down to reserve. The hotel puts notices on the beds to try and stop this happening, but i can’t say it did. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The entertainment team work incredibly hard and the evening entertainment was again, the best I’ve seen at an all inclusive. The hotel grounds are very tidy and clean, well kept grass areas with natural shade from trees which people laid towels out on, including ourselves, we loved chilling there and playing ball games with my little boy. Filtered very cold water stations throughout the hotel which was brilliant as we just refilled our water bottles. The room was in great condition, staff kept it clean, tidy and replaced towels and sheets when requested. Aircon was very good and completely silent! Bed very comfortable, small bed provided in the room for my 2 year old had a proper mattress and he slept great all week. Blackout curtains and sound proofing from the evening entertainment was really good! If you can afford the bit extra, I think having a room with a main pool/sea view is definitely worth it. We got the bus to Can Picafort, which has a large market on the sea front on Friday mornings. Worth a visit if you’re wanting a morning out. Buses get busy and some drivers ask for you to pack your buggy down. We had the best week here and would highly recommend this hotel and location to anyone. Will be coming back for sure!

Mostly great - but a some room for improvement
Overall I had a lovely 6 night stay here with my 5 year old daughter at end of May. For us the hotel and it's grounds are beautiful. Lot's of shops in close proximity which was useful. I felt however the room needed some improvement to be considered 4 star. This side was definitely a let down in comparison to the rest of the hotel and I would go as far to say it is way overpriced for what you get. Star Camp! What can I say? My daughter loved it there and the staff worked tirelessly on a daily basis to keep the kids entertained. Shout out to Bea, Isabel and April from me and Lily! Water coolers/dispenser around the hotel was a bonus as well. Besides room improvement, a few niggles: - As a brit, tea and coffee making facilities is needed in the rooms - Sound proofing is poor. Our room was facing the road and the sound of traffic was very noticable day and night. Also slamming of doors by other guests and children running and crying in corridor was very loud. - The smell of sewage at night was abit annoying. - Sunbeds! We were there during a very busy week and it was almost impossible to find one because alot of inconsiderate guests place their towels down in the early hours to reserve them even when they are not at the pool. This was a major let down for us and I am not sure why the hotel cannot do something about this. - There were plenty of mosquitos. Be sure to bring repellant and an anti itch cream for bites if going here. I was not bitten but my daughter and plenty other kids around were affected. - There were a few occasions when plate and utensils picked up in the dining room were not clean. Despite the few niggles, I would definitely stay here again.

A superb, high quality hotel, very family friendly
A really excellent hotel in all respects. Great check in experience with lovely welcome drinks, cold towels and chocolates. Hotel is spotless and the staff work tirelessly to clean the communal areas, down to the smallest details. Really lovely bathroom toiletries too. We were half board and were impressed by the variety and quality of food at the daily buffet. There was a wide selection of different cuisine; pasta station, pizzas, salad bar, cheeses, seafood, themed nights, plenty of Majorcan food which was great to experience and something for the health conscious, vegan, vegetarian as well as plenty of naughty puddings. A wide selection of sauces, condiments as well as generous touches, like a complimentary pre dinner drink or fizz at breakfast some days. Special thanks to Eros and Bridgette who were very kind and to all the team who waited tables in the outside part of the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble. The beach is divine, and the pool options give lots of choice depending on your mood. They cater well for young children as well as adults and weren’t overcrowded. Lovely bar overlooking the sea, serving great coffee and real coconuts! The hotel feels intimate yet spacious and thought has gone into additional things like water stations on every floor, spaces like a children’s play station inside and a little arcade section. The animation team were all great, so friendly. We especially loved the production of Frozen. Our 4 year old really enjoyed the Star Club, which was a nice surprise and we enjoyed the Sangria class (for adults). The hotel is well situated for local buses into the historic old town of Alcudia. My only complaint was there isn’t enough storage in the family room which you so desperately need and this could easily be achieved with some shelving and deeper bedside cabinets. The “double bed” comprises of 2x single beds which move apart so you effectively sleep in a single rather than a single. Overall a great hotel. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay, we would definitely return!

Great hotel and location
Just returned after spending a week at this lovely hotel. The hotel location is perfect, right next to the most beautiful clean sandy beach. The sea is a stunning blue colour, and is safe and shallow. There are shops, bars and restaurants right outside the hotel too. The hotel itself is kept immaculately clean in all areas and the bedrooms are cleaned daily. The staff in reception, the bars and the Star Friends animation team are a credit to the hotel and are all extremely attentive to the guests needs. Special mentions Toni in reception, both Davids in the bars, Jorge and Mike who kept everyone entertained with such enthusiasm and not forgetting the pool guy who always had a smile on his face, fetching more sun beds and umbrellas when they were needed. The pools were a little on the cold side, but were lovely and were kept clean despite the overhead trees. The food was ok and the selection of salads and cold food was very good however, there were problems with the hot food. On the first day I was served a fried egg with yolk that was cold and obviously not cooked. I also witnessed the chefs placing raw chicken on the grill next to steak that was already cooked and ready to be served, the chef also used the same utensils on the raw chicken that he used on cooked food. The quality of some of the meat was also very poor. The food was not being replenished quickly enough and resulted in queues waiting for more food to be bought out. Finally some of the food on the hot plates was very cold and this was a big problem throughout the week. Despite the issues with the food, I would like to think that these issues could be rectified and I would seriously consider returning due to the many positives that the hotel has to offer. All in all a lovely holiday destination it’s just a shame that the restaurants had some negatives.
