We had our wedding at Iberostar Quetzel and it was nothing but amazing. Nayeli and her team made everything so easy for us. The wedding day went perfectly, everything was scheduled properly and we couldn't have been happier. The resort itself was so beautiful, pictures don't do justice. We really wanted to stay at a place that had a jungle theme to it with animals all around and that's exactly what we got. The night time with the bridges and pretty lights felt so magical. It's nice that it was a bit of a quieter resort, we slept really well every night. It was so easy to get a taxi in and out of the resort and easy commute to Playa del Carmen. You could even walk around Playa Car, which was really nice. I can see why it's a 5 star resort.

All Inclusive that hits the mark - Iberostar Waves Quetzal
I don’t usually go for all-inclusives—let’s be honest, the food can be a gamble—but this time was a total win. The meals were consistently delicious, the beach was breathtaking, the room & grounds clean, bed was comfortable and the staff went above and beyond to make the stay special. Not to mention, pricing was fair for a rainforest type eco friendly accommodation with animals that roamed freely (albino peacocks, monkeys, coati, etc) Special shoutout to Ms. Hernandez and Portillo at Iberostar Waves Quetzal/Tucan—made a great trip even better. And if you need reliable local transport, Efrain Juarez is your go-to guy. Friendly, punctual, and super helpful! If you're looking for a spot with a mix of relaxation, great service, and a stunning beach, I'd say it covered all that.

One of the best times of our lives!
One of the best holidays ever! Especially if you are travelling with children or teenagers. We came here with our 13 and 15 year old teenagers and they had the time of their lives. They were never bored as the pool and sea are fantastic. But one of the best things was the animation team with the funny and entertaining Victor, the incredible Israel (what a great show he created each time he was on stage!!), the cool Brandy and the great and charming dancer Christian. I loved the sunrise yoga classes, especially the one with Wendy. She is the best. We loved the animals at the resort and the jungle. The food was great too! There was enough variety in the buffet restaurants that we never went to another restaurant. Hopefully we can come back one day. Thank you for everything!

Love this resort! Great location, great rooms but especially great staff! Please double everyone's pay here because they all are so friendly and work so hard to make the guests experience the best. Thank you to the staff! Love this resort and would rate it a 10!

You had us at hello!
We had such a beautiful trip from start to finish! The pristine property along with the magnificent white sand beach, surrounded by nature and friendly people made every moment very memorable! Our son enjoyed the Star Camp— and made friends from all over the world! Pretty cool! Almudena made everything super smooth so we could take advantage of our prestige membership. I drank my weight in pineapple mojitos- and we really loved the Italian restaurant! Highly recommended resort- one of our favorites so far!
