  A relaxing retreat.

  If you prefer a relaxing place that is not an all-inclusive, and not too lively, then stay at this hotel. The employees were friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to many restaurants. The hotel was clean and serene. We would return to this place.

  Just like Home

  This is our 7th time here. We are just about to leave and it’s like leaving our family. Anyone who comes and says anything bad about the service didn’t treat these amazing people with the respect they deserve. Gonzalo, Miriam, Ruben, Antonio , Gueriallmo, Alejandro, Karla, I could go on! These are amazing & beautiful people who truly make us feel welcome and work so hard ! We will be back again and can not wait to see all of you. Everything about this place is beautiful. Thankyou for going out of your way for us and making each and every stay so special.   Excellent, service was amazing.

  Checked in to the InterContinental after checking out of an all-inclusive resort down the beach. I was looking for something relaxing and quiet and this was a perfect place. I ordered breakfast included it was good. The beds are very comfortable but what was so amazing to me was how fastidiously clean this place is. Not only is it clean but the staff is excellent. Judy the concierge is amazing, we had a minor problem and she fixed it. Alejandro her boss is equally amazing, extremely professional and very zen individual. The waitstaff and the restaurants is outstanding, particularly Antonio Delariva and his wife Alberta. Everyone tries to learn your name and everybody try to remember your room number. You can tell that the leadership of this hotel of this hotel is excellent, I need two hands to count the number of staff that told me they love their job. Beach and pools are gorgeous.

  Fabulous Beach

  We travelled on March 19-20, only one day but wished we could have stayed longer, the rooms and beds are super comfortable, they provide fresh coffee, water and croissants in the lobby starting 4am so it was very appreciated since we had an early flight. My daughter loved the kids club and swimming pool, but the things that made our stay here FABULOUS was the Beach, we are beach people and love to stay all day at the beach. I am posting some pictures but the pictures dont do justice for the magnificence of this beach. We only ate there for dinner at the Beach restaurant and the food was delicious, my husband had the tacos and my daughter had the pasta from the kids menu. My Husband and 7 year old daughter snorkeler off the beach and saw many colourful fish, barracudas and a sting ray, they absolutely loved that experience!

  One night stay with IHG Points

  I used my IHG points to stay one night and then in the morning we were taking a transfer to another resort. We arrived in the afternoon and the bell service did a great job with our bags. We went to eat at Le Cay for dinner. It was overpriced, food quality was below average and the service was awful. We got a drink at the lobby bar and the bartender was friendly and espresso martini was good. In the morning at checkout I complained about the meal we had the night before at Le Cay and was told that I would be hearing follow up about our meal. A week later and I have heard nothing. While the rest of our stay was expectable. The bad experience at the restaurant really ruined our visit. I would not stay hear again or recommend it to a friend.
