Paradise :-)
Back from our umpteenth stay at the Joia El Mirador. We always enjoy coming back to this oasis of peace. It always feels like coming home. Everything in the hotel meets the highest standards. The biggest asset, however, is the staff. Without exception, everyone is genuinely friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much to ask. The majority of guests are repeaters. We have already booked for 2026, and we are looking forward to it! Congratulations to Tiziana and her entire team. Special thanks to Diana, our favorite butler!

Beautiful, immaculate hotel in lovely setting
This is our second visit to the El Mirador. Its setting, views across the sea, lovely poolside, fantastic fresh food, immaculately clean areas and wonderful friendly staff make it a very special experience. We stayed in the Prestige area of the hotel which offers extra privileges and special thanks to Diana who looks after the Prestige guests. Even if not staying in Prestige, all areas of the hotel are beautiful and all rooms, including the late check out room, are super clean and are really elegant. Thank you to Tiziana and all the team, we hope to come back soon.

Fabulous
Fabulous hotel and the team who work there are so friendly and helpful. Food is very good - even the buffet which generally fill me with dread a little… Loads of space outside to relax. Sun loungers galore. Gym is good if not the biggest. Such a pretty setting. We opted for a star prestige room and I would say do that if you can. You will be looked after wonderfully, have a separate area and pool and nothing is too much trouble. Some good restaurants nearby and in the little El Mirador mall attached to the hotel. The hotel is right on the beach too. Perfection.

Thoroughly Excellent
Absolutely stunning hotel, we were first time visitors but now completely understand why this wonderful hotel has so many repeat visitors. We are seasoned travelers and have not found this level of service before outside of SE Asia! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service was impeccable. The hotel just feels so peaceful, it was full during our stay but never felt overly busy Rooms are a little bit dated but spotlessly clean with an impeccable standard of cleaning. They could do with a few more electrical sockets but that is literally the only thing I can think of to improve. Staff are , without exception, warm and professional especially the superstar that is Tiziana, who is always around to check that you are enjoying yourself Breakfast has endless options again amongst the best we have experienced. In fact my only criticism is that this hotel is so good it will spoil your enjoyment of other hotels you stay in as you will be constantly comparing! We moved on to Lanzarote and have not nothing but that since we arrived! This hotel is now or go to option when we are back in Tenerife. Thank you JOIA El Mirador we will be back

Better each time!
We stayed at the JOIA El Mirador for the 4th time last week. As ever the hotel was fantastic. The facilities are excellent and the rooms modern, spacious and with every detail thought about to enhance the stay. The staff, as always, were superb and consistent. No detail or request is too much, they genuinely want to ensure the guests have a wonderful experience. We visited when there were strikes in the hospitality industry in Tenerife. Interestingly the hotel had a full complement of staff these days, and kudos to the General Manager and Butler who spoke to guests individually to assure us about the service at the hotel and the staff well being. We will return!
