Good Hotel but don't appreciate the used car sales approach
We had never traveled to Jamaica before. Iberostar was a very nice place for our first visit. The resort was clean, well appointed, very good restaurants with a wide variety of foods, we had butlers with our suite and they were fantastic (Omar and Valentine), front desk was friendly and helpful, lots of good seating at both the pool and the beach. Weirdly in Jamaica, the lasagna in the Italian restaurant was some of the best I have ever had. The only real negatives, and what kept me from rating 5 star, was the misrepresentation/lies on both the website and by the concierge related to the spa and golf. The website says that with our suite (the nicest/most expensive suite offered), we would receive free massage credits at the spa and a free round of golf. What we were told after arriving was that the golf wasn't actually free, but was $99 instead of the regular $199. When I referred them to the website, they said, yeah mon, we have been trying to get them to take out the word free, but they haven't yet. Then we were told that the concierge would give us the spa certificates, but he wanted to have breakfast with us to get to know us better. He never showed at the breakfast, but instead we were passed between several fast talking salespeople for the Iberostar club, essentially time share sales. It was a mess and wasted a lot of our time before they finally handed over the spa certificates. Was totally misleading and outright lies! It is making me angry again as I type this. But this aside, the Iberostar JOIA Rose Hall was a good experience for our first trip to Jamaica.

10/10 Butler Service, shoutout to Ralston and the rest of their awesome team
This was our first time in Jamaica at JOIA Rose Hall and it definitely won’t be the last. It felt like home away from home, but in paradise! Our family was lucky to have a Butler during our stay, they are attentive and compassionate, part of why you feel so at home. Ralston especially was a Butler plus friend all in one. You’d be lucky to have him! We couldn’t have asked for more!

Incredible Stay at Iberostar Joia with Outstanding Butler Service
We had an amazing experience at Iberostar Joia. The resort is beautiful, relaxing, and impeccably maintained. A special thank you to our butlers, Christopher Alianand Andre, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their service was professional, attentive, and truly elevated our entire trip. Highly recommend this resort — and if you get Alain and Andre, you’re in great hands!

Beautiful country
Some minimal service issues but overall resort was pretty. Great bartenders and excellent food! Cedric in star prestige was awesome and Sherka was exceptional. Chef Odane was the best chef in the entire resort. He was very accommodating, friendly, fun and such a skilled chef.

Amazing Vacation !!!
We have been to the Grand numerous times.... what a great time we have there. It is honestly our favourite place to be .... the resort is awesome .... but it's the staff that honestly keep us coming back !!! Bassine and Nadika in customer relations are available via email before we arrive if you have any questions, they do a great job making sure our stay is seamless and enjoyable. Don't hesitate to reach out to them. Thank you Bassine and Nadika for being a special part of our wedding. Our arrival to the hotel is always so much fun ... Everyone is greeted so well by the bellhops who take your bags and help you in. This time we thank Sean for the great welcome and great service getting us to our rooms. The front desk girls and Barrington are all so helpful as well ... they do their best to make sure we have a room we will like ... and the check in process is always fun and enjoyable. This visit was extra special because we brought our family as we were getting married on the resort. Our family loved every moment spent there .... Thank you to Marsha-Ann for co ordinating the wedding. She did an incredible job and everything was done so seamlessly, we had nothing to worry about except showing up. There are SO many people that make our stay such a good time. Clive in the mornings at the Lobby bar is so fun, and makes the best espresso martini's. Garry, Andre and Deveon in the evenings all have great personalies and give great service. They are ALL awesome in the Lobby bar and the service we mainly received this trip from Alexia and Amanda while seated was top notch. The rooms are really nice and well kept. The housekeeping staff is simply amazing and on this trip we must say thank you to Tashae' and Sharon for all the great work they do. Along with them a special thank you to butlers Rohan and Gary whom went over and above to make our stay special. Breakfast in the Cornwall buffet is always good .... and the lunch buffet down by the beach every day is great as well. We never go hungry. As for dinners .... They are simply incredible and we are never disappointed. Managers Dovia and Judy do a great job popping in and out of all restaurants making sure service and food is all top notch and everyone is being looked after and happy. Surf and Turf is one of our favorites, Thank you Andrew and Kenloy this last trip for the great service. What has now become one our favourites is the Italian, Stefan the manager goes out of his way to help his staff and to make sure everyone is happy with their meals.Thank you everyone for great meals during our stay. Theolynn, Seon and Anishka at the towel hut are 3 people that also make our day ... they have towels always at hand... floatation devices and sunscreen readily available. They are always so happy and genuine and a pleasure to chat with. The entertainment staff led by Deivy whom has done a great job taking things to a new level. We were thoroughly entertained throughout by all ... thank you especially Angel, Bubbles and of course Smiley. In ending I have to mention the late night fun we had at the small and quiet Hemmingway Bar. The mixologist Michele is one of the resorts best kept secrets. Stop by in the evenings and have an incredible drink. Thank you everyone at the Grand! Carol and Remo
