I am a 25+ yrs Destination wedding planner, island travel expert & Beach Lifestyle Writer.18+ Islands & numerous top resorts toured. @paradisebeachcompany I visited the Kipton Resort & Spa.It was a beautiful, modern stylish tropical feeling resort.It was extremely pristine clean stunning property with lush, relaxing tranquil sprawling tropical areas throughout the property on a white sand beach.Beautiful place for luxury Destination weddings, higher end family & couples travel.Great for honeymooners too. Customer service here was great! Very friendly kind people. Nice bars & restaurants.Exchange privileges at the Indigo sister property by golf cart & more restaurants & nightlife there too.Great for corporate events too.

Another Amazing Stay!
Another 5 Star stay at the Kimpton Seafire! Greeted by Rischa with a smile at checkin and the valet team (they are ALL great!) Kavita was MVP and cleared up a room issue and she sure was right, the family suite was amazing. Also, that room has two bunk beds plus a sofa bed (hard to tell in the photos) and books for kids. Honestly, every room at this hotel is great..we've stayed in a few now. Tricia was our beach side server for a few of the days and was soo sweet! She made sure my 2 little ones were well taken care of and kept the food and drinks flowing. Ave was great as usual (we ordered the pistachio lava cake 3 times it was THAT good.) However we didn't really like any of the 4 or 5 tapas from Avecita (the Spanish tapas really fell flat, especially if you have been to Spain). I think that menu needs a re-do. Pom-pom is a roof top restaurant at the neighboring Indigo resort and Those tapas were all soo good + seafire and indigo will drive you back and forth in golf carts. The servers at all 3 were fantastic. Whoever hires, trains, and manages employees here deserves an award. These people are all amazing and so friendly and helpful, something that has disappeared in the hospitality industry over the years, yet is still thriving at the Kimpton Seafire at the highest level. Don't let the resort fee put you off, it includes a TON including valet, swim diapers, baby wash, beach services, splash pad, yoga, snorkeling gear, nonmotorized warer sports, sun screen, water, aloe vera, plus more, shaving kit, tooth brush 2x per day house keeping and more!

Beautiful resort and wonderful staff
We stayed at the Kimpton resort for one week and loved it. The beach chairs and umbrellas were plentiful which we definitely appreciated. We were right on the beach with clear, calm water and no seaweed. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a beautiful ocean view balcony. I loved the complimentary coffee in the lobby each morning. The attendant was very diligent at making sure the coffees, creamers, and supplies always remained stocked and clean. The complimentary wine and snacks in the evening were also very fun and refilled often. The coffee and pastry shop also had nice selection of sandwiches and pastries. It would be nice if they would stay open a few hours past 7 pm in case you'd like a late coffee or snack without having to visit a restaurant. The resort was very clean and always stocked with towels, sunscreen, drinking water, and anything we needed. The restrooms always had soap and towels and were well maintained. Our sons used the gym daily and enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and pleasant and made the service feel very personal. Daniele at the Cocoloba beachside food service was always cheerful and energetic even during very hot days. Harif at the Ave breakfast was always kind and attentive each morning. Iksam and Sandi at Ave were also very pleasant and made us feel welcome. The gentleman at Ave (I didn't get his name but I think he was a manager and from Hungary or Turkey) smiled often and made sure we were well taken care of every morning. Risha at the front desk and Beatha at the concierge desk took the time to thoroughly help us through all our questions. Thank you to all the amazing staff we met over our 7 day stay!

Jun 11, 2025Beach manager Simon Tyroll will ruin a good vacation
Simon Tyroll is about the worst manager of any 5star hotel I’ve ever been to. He has absolutely no idea what his staff is doing - no communication, terrible service. He appears to be a young, inexperienced guy with zero hospitality industry common sense. We had the worst experience with the beach club at Seafire. Please do yourself a favor and stay at an actual top notch five star Resort - The Ritz Carlton! Honestly, don’t waste your money on the Kimpton Seafire and their nepo baby third rate management staff - Simon Tyroll.

Amazing
Fantastic resort. Been all over the world and my wife and I like the rate our favorites…..Seafire made the top 5. To quantify this, I am talking about meeting the same standards to Phi Phi Island Village in Thailand, Four Seasons in Hawaii, and The Springs in Costa Rica. Absolutely fabulous. This is what to expect with a 5 star resort. The servers remember your name, the food is amazing, and the rooms are amazing. From a person that heavily relies on Trip Advisor reviews, this is a must stay. This is not for the budget seekers so be prepared if money is a concern. That’s not a dig, you pay for what you get.
