  I wanted to write a review about our phenomenal stay at the Majestic Elegance last week because I really relied on Trip Advisor reviews when I was planning our vacation. It’s a little long but I think the details are helpful. This is a beautiful resort with both an adult “club” side and family/children side. What really made our stay 5 star was the staff. Every single employee was kind and helpful. We took our 2 young adult kids along and had 2 junior suite outdoor jacuzzi rooms. On the club side there are also suites with pools on the roof and first floor swim up suites. All club rooms are suites with Butlers. Our rooms were clean and we were given a wonderful ocean view. The kids weren’t too far away but far enough they were happy. The food was especially good which is a surprise at an all inclusive. There were several restaurants but only 2 needed reservations and our butler, Felipe, was wonderful enough to organize. There’s an app that you can communicate with him anytime and he responded immediately. We had an issue with hot water once and help arrived within 10 mins. Never had another issue. We didn’t plan excursions because it was a shorter trip but we did decide to take the ferry to Isla Mujeres and Felipe gave great tips to assist. (Arranged short taxi ride to Cancun port where it’s easy to purchase tix. 25 min boat ride to Isla Mujeres, totally worth it! Rent a golf cart. It’s only 5 miles from one end to the other). The activities at the pool and at night were excellent and while we spent most of our time at the club side pool and beach we actually thought the main pool was fantastic too. There was a DJ Foam Party in the pool mid week that was phenomenal and Friday night Mexican themed entertainment and dinner was incredible. Something I’ve never seen before at any resort was done here. Before the foam party every area manager including the GM of the entire resort came out to introduce themselves and thank guests. The beach is huge and water gorgeous blue. There was never an issue getting covered chairs anywhere. My son turned 21 while there and they decorated his room and arranged for cake at dinner. The server even brought out a steak that he prepared Brazilian style with a little “hibachi type” performance in front of whole restaurant just for my son. Great little sports bar for karaoke. You can’t go wrong booking your stay at Majestic Costa Mujeres.

  Nothing bad to say (and we would say it if there was)

  To give perspective, we limit our resort trips (all-in) to under $6,000 in 2025 (indexed from our first resort in 2003). We have previously stayed at another resort in Cancun as well as resorts in Dominican Republic (Punta Cana and La Romana), Jamaica, and Cabo San Lucas. This resort was easily the best ever. It was the first resort with excellent food, at both the buffets and the restaurants, while previously we would have called food "good institutional". The bars have a great selection of liquor, with the Lower Lobby Bar offering top-shelf (Grey Goose, etc.). The resort is gorgeous. Our room was no less than stunning. The staff are outstanding. The most notable ones particular to our stay were: Angelica - hostess Sergio - bartender Jaime - pool Esther - pool bar Mary (Maria Fernanda) - pool Patricia - hostess Ahide - dining manager Juan Jose - buffet server Guadalupe - buffet server Oliver - pool entertainment Abril - pool bar IMPORTANT ADVICE: Both the French bistro and Japanese restaurant require reservations (the others do not), so you should make those immediately upon arrival.

  Highly recommended!

  There are not enough incredible things to say about this resort experience!!! The service was above and beyond. The resort was very clean and well stocked. The activities are endless and offers entertainment for all ages- perfect so you never have to think about leaving the resort. The property and beach are so beautiful! And bars galore!! One downside is no beach/pool food access. Individuals worthy of a shoutout: Andres- The kindest and most thoughtful butler. Cauich- beach bartender, we loved chatting with you about your family traditions Jamie and Amanda- your positive energy is unmatched Manuel and Angel- your beach and poolside service was nonstop and so very appreciated

  Expectations Exceeded!

  This place was sooooooo great! We stayed in the Adult's Only Club section. We expected a lot, and our expectations were exceeded beyond our dreams. Henry, our butler, was fantastic. The maid service was great because they were invisible, but always there for us, and the staff at the Kabuki were fun and we loved our time there!

  Kids club

  The ladies at kids club Diana and Estrella were fabulous! They were super creative and fun with the activities and games that the kids enjoyed with painting, clay modeling and other crafts to keep the kids entertained and happy. It brought a smile on my daughter’s face! Thank you ladies 🙏😊
