In the Sushi Bar you will find an excellent and elaborate selection of sushi and 8 Teppanyakis, with capacity for 10 people and six sittings per day, you can have a real experience of show cooking whilst enjoying Japanese cuisine.

Jun 30, 2025Fabulous May vacation
Had a fantastic 2 weeks at the Mirage thanks to so many people, but especially our butler Elvis. He checked on us every day in person and anticipated our needs and provided our every request! The weather in early May was fantastic and the ocean clearer than we have seen it in years! Seaweed started coming in at the end of our stay. People get anxious about the seaweed situation before arriving, but honestly we have found it changes daily. If its too much on any given day, just hit the pool, and check the beach tomorrow.! We have met so many employees over the years, and every one of them we consider friends and familia. Our vacation would not be the same without the restaurant hostesses, Olga, Ana Maria, Dorcas, Naomi and Altagracia and our daily visits with Nelson and Aleksander. All the restaurants were good, but we really enjoyed the steak house and L’Essence restaurants this year. Thank you to Raul, Jesuito, 2 Luis, Aleksander, William, Jesus and Jefferson. Enjoyed the piano bar for cocktails before dinner, and if you get there early enough, can enjoy the live piano music. The bartenders and pool/beach servers work very hard and are always trying to please, thanks to Gustavo, Yoquesy, Jonathan, Rafi, Raphael, Ramon, Jennifer and Jimy. Majestic Mirage must be doing something right, because we have met so many repeat guests, many who have vacationed there more than 25 times. Repeaters always say they return mainly because of the wonderful staff who really do treat you like family, a true testament to the management, Elena, Jamie, Raul, and Leo, who make their way around the resort daily and are very approachable. We will be back in November to celebrate our 40th anniversary, another thing this resort does so well is make your special day Extra Special!!

A Great Repeat Experience
Majestic Mirage is a large beautiful resort with excellent responsive staff in an impressive coastal setting. The meal and dessert choices are good. The drinks are good. There were 3 couples in our group. One of the couples had spent their honeymoon at Majestic Mirage 3 years ago and they returned for their wedding anniversary. We would also return based on a great vacation experience.

Anniversary celebration
From the moment we arrived, e were blown away by the hospitality & attention to details. The chef in process was smooth & welcoming. The entire resort is stunning lush landscaping, immaculate pool, and breathtaking views at every turn. The staff truly made our trip unforgettable. Every employee we encountered was courteous & genuinely eager to help. I highly recommend this resort if you’re travelling to Punta Cana.

A week in Paradise
We spent a fantastic week at the Majestic Mirage. It all began with our private transfer from the airport. The driver was professional and timely. Once at the resort, we had a private check-in where we met our butler, Francisca. She was the best. She walked us around the resort and then to our suite. She was consistently available throughout the week and responded to every request. Our suite was huge and perfect. We were located on the corner of building three, which provided our swim-out access with privacy. We also had a jacuzzi, a Balinese bed, and two full-length sun beds. We had breakfast at the Market every morning, where we met Jeysen. He took care of us all week, including our dinner at La Rinascita (an Italian restaurant). We had an incredible meal. He also recommended a head waiter at each of the other restaurants we tried and stopped by each night to ensure we were having a great experience. Our least favorite meal was at Kabuki (Japanese). The service was excellent, but the food was cooked teppanyaki-style and wasn't served until everything was finished. This meant that only the food cooked last was warm. We enjoyed both L'Essence (French) and Don Jaume (steakhouse). The food and service were both excellent. We greatly enjoyed the coffee and snacks at Café Español. We spent every day at the beach. The weather was perfect and we never felt crowded. The beach and water do have a lot of sargassum. The website warns about this, and so does Costco when booking through them. The resort works every morning to remove this from the beach; however, it would be impossible to remove all of it completely. We wouldn't say this was the best beach we've ever been to, but we thoroughly enjoyed our week.

EXCELLENCE AT MAJESTIC MIRAGE
Majestic in Punta Cana has three hotels. While the other ones are more party-oriented, the Majestic Mirage boasts of a more relaxing, luxurious atmosphere, which was just what the doctor ordered for wifey and I, looking to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in a swim up at the Club level. The suite was, as is the whole resort, designed to be airy and open spaced. They have several restaurants, all with its own theme, and require long pants at two of them. I recommend the French, the Italian, and the main buffet. Also the Seaside has great food for lunch while you’re at the beach, and they also have a grill for ribs, chicken, and burgers on the beach. Had some great meals. People are where all organizations rise and fall, and where Magestic Mirage excels the most. Our concierge Jacobo (Alvaro) Alvarado, planned our restaurant reservations, directed us towards the different events, had our room decorated for our anniversary, and was always a call away, unintrusive, but always there, our own “fixer”. The staff was always helpful and cheery, but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention: Marlyn, her gracious ways and people skills made an impression on both of us. Also, Rodner, and Juan, who always decorated our tables, turning the anniversary into a week-long affair, and anticipating what we wanted every day. If you hit that trifecta, you’ll have some of the best table service ever. Another experience that made this trip unique was the sommelier, William, who somehow managed to serve us a bottle of wine so memorable that I’ve been looking for it since. Note: premium wines are extra, though they serve a decent merlot as one of their house wines. We visited the Blossom Spa and had a couples massage which was outstanding. But three days later I hurt my lower back and had a severe sciatica attack. So I revisited my massage therapist, Ivelisse, and got another, more intense massage concentration on the injured area. After I walked out, I haven’t felt pain since, so I owe her a personal debt. All in all, one of the best experiences we’ve had in the DR. THANK YOU ALL. You made us feel at home.
