A nice stay with a few caveats
The location in frigate bay is nice. We stayed in a villa and it was spacious and clean. The pools are great. The staff were all very pleasant. But of course you’re staying in a resort, and it takes a cab ride to get pretty much anywhere. There is a little grocery store and a few restaurants that are within walking distance. And there’s not so much to do at the hotel itself. It’s off-season, so that may be part of the reason. That’s not to say there’s nothing to do, it was just limited. And it would seem that some activities that existed pre-pandemic that we saw in previous reviews still haven’t made their way back just yet. And some activities have weird hours. The beach at the resort is fine. The water temperature is pleasant and there are rocks to break the waves. But. And it’s a big one. They are having a problem with sargassum on the Atlantic facing beach. It’s not their fault of course, and they try to clean it. But it’s hard to get into the water around it, and it does produce a strong odor. As an alternative, they offer a shuttle to shipwreck beach on the Caribbean side, but the times for the shuttle aren’t conducive for a quick trip to the beach. All in all it was a pleasant stay. And none of the little nuisances were bad enough to turn us off to it. We arranged for private tours around St Kitts and then on Nevis, so we packed a lot in along the way. (Pro tip: We got introduced to a taxi driver by the concierge and he helped us; he was terrific).

Think twice, your money would be better spent elsewhere
While St. Kitts is a nice place, staying at this MVC is less than desirable. The staff is not friendly or accommodating, where they make you feel like you’re an inconvenience - not including the pool activity members. Food is expensive, you’re basically paying ballpark rates with 12.5% service charges on everything to boot. The place needs serious updating - tile work, pool bar, pool wooden structures. Don’t ask for the front desk for any accommodations for late checkout, not even 1 hour. The place is not close to being sold out, and you have cleaning service cleaning rooms at 4pm anyway, so there’s that. While the site seeing of St Kitts is nice, this place needs some competition because it’s one of the only major resorts here (aside from Four Seasons) so they act complacent, and their customers don’t seem to mean anything which shows in how everyone is treated on property. This is a one and done.

Simple the best better than all the rest.
The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, friendly staff on the front desk & the very helpful & professional lively men to help advise guide & help with luggage I live all of them, a special shout out to Caulton, Troy, Chelston, Craig & not forgetting the super duper man outside of the hotel keeping pedestrians & car/bus drivers safe. The support staff for cleaning the room was lovely ( sorry I can’t remember her name) also a big shout out to the very tall lovely man with glasses at the front desk who I use to say hi to daily ( again I cannot remember his name) but he was a delight.the room was by far the most superior room I’ve stayed in both here & abroad. I had a few meals there which were pricey but tasted great & the pizza best in st kitts. If I had to have a negative it would be the 20$ paid everytime we left the complex to visit family, the market or just for a visit to port zante for a walk, I know this has nothing to do with the hotel but a bus service from hotel to city centre would’ve been ideal. All in all a good stay lots of pins colados & rum punch poolside it was a fantastic week & I really didn’t want it to end. Thank you Marriott, I will definitely be back.

Relaxing family vacation
Our first time at this MVC location and it did not disappoint. We happened to be there during the St Kitts Music Fest, but it was technically their slow season. We had one ocean view villa and one ocean side villa. Don’t waste extra points on ocean side as it does not give you beach access and view. There is a wall that separates the resort from the beach. The resort has 3 pools, one hot tub, and 2 non-heated tubs. Lots of food options, and a Rams grocery store across the street. We compared the price and its the same as the Rams in town. Ice machines are available, and we did find a water fill station - its located at the Jessup building where the ice machine should be. Overall great, relaxing trip.

exceeded our expectations
A Home Away From Home — Marriott St. Kitts Beach Club Exceeded Every Expectation Even before we arrived, Mericia went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place. She secured my deposit and ensured all of my needs were met. I had spoken with Mericia, Clayta, and Melisha before we got here, and when we arrived, it truly felt like we were being welcomed by family. They knew me, greeted me with excitement, and made my birthday feel so special. Speaking of special—Sandra even came to our villa and sang Happy Birthday to me. That personal touch moved me beyond words. Our three-bedroom, three-bathroom villa was phenomenal. The space was so grand that my kids would call from their side because it felt too far to walk! We’ve always been loyal to the Marriott brand, but this stay has gone far beyond anything we could have imagined. Every person we encountered—from the Bellman to the front desk staff—was kind, enthusiastic, and proud of the work they do. Everyone’s warmth and joy made this stay unforgettable. I cannot wait to come back to this incredible place. Thank you, Marriott St. Kitts Beach Club, for making this such a magical and memorable experience!
