Jun 14, 2025Mount Cinnamon is a gem, would definitely return!
We had a fabulous stay at Mount Cinnamon Resort. The staff are so lovely, helpful and friendly. This was our first time in Grenada, and I would definitely go back. I have a habit of not liking hotels when I first arrive and, on several occasions, have moved to a different hotel. It was initially the same this time, but I quickly changed my mind!. The pool was a lot smaller than I expected and is literally next to the reception area. There isn't really a lounge area, so seating for the evening is the dining tables or a couple of tables and chairs next to the bar, or there are bar stools. The villa we had was very spacious, clean, and comfortable but a little tired, and the bathrooms need updating. BUT...I very quickly settled and ended up loving the place. Yes, service is a little slow, but once you realise that this is mainly due to the laid back vibe of the lovely people and the island, you can choose whether you want it to be a problem or not. Breakfast choice is great and plenty of ala carte options. A beautiful little walk through the mature gardens to Grand Anse beach, which is perfect. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and the beach restaurant has plenty of choice of freshly cooked food with good service. With regards to the lounge area, I think it would be a good idea to take away some of the dining tables and chairs and replace them with a few clusters of lounge chairs/sofas. What's lovely about Mount Cinnamon is how it is built into the hillside and looks authentic as it blends in with the local houses as you view it from the beach or out on the water. We hired a car for a couple of days and went all over the island, driving through the villages and getting a feel for island life. We felt safe and welcome throughout. If you like horseriding, we rode on the beach with Royan, who owns Bonanza stables. The horses were so well cared for and loved. We even visited the farm where they were stabled on a different day and were proudly shown around. There's so much to do in Grenada and plenty of good restaurants and beach bars. A point to make is that food is really expensive in and outside of the hotel.

Jun 05, 2025My experience, and coming from a wilderness season, the Garden Suite was absolutely PERFECT!!
The pillows were perfect for me because I don’t like hard or soft, they were just right. Usually my biggest complaint in hotels. The food was great, and on the health side. The staff are ALL well trained including the security officers. The view from where I had my breakfast and dinner was very relaxing because of the sea, sand and garden view. I am going to come back with my children and their children.

Love Mount Cinnamon!
We had an amazing week at Mount Cinnamon! This was our first time in Grenada, and wow, I cannot imagine a more perfect resort on the island. The ideal location, beautiful grounds, lovely beach, two great restaurants, adorable pool area, and amazing staff are the gems of this stunning property. It felt like a slice of the Amalfi Coast in the Caribbean. We stayed in the spacious Villa 14, and every invigorating step up the hill was worth it for the most incredible view from the large, comfortable deck. All of the staff members we met were delightful, and I'm sorry that I do not remember all the names but want to say a special thank you to Markiyah who responded to my multiple trip planning emails and helped arrange airport transfers, island tours, and dinner reservations. A big hug also goes to Kanilah who is the most gracious ambassador of the resort - friendly, happy, and helpful! Thank you, Mount Cinnamon, for an amazing week!

Cinnamon, Spice and Everything Nice
Leaving today and super sad to have to go. The past week has been excellent, made better by Kalinah, Shakim, Shakkema, Dellon, Cecille and Sabrina. We are sure we are forgetting other specific people but everyone helped to make it a great visit. Dellon made us laugh every day! The resort is special the food excellent (it IS the island of spices) and the room amazing. 1100 sq ft including one bedroom 2 bathrooms living room, full kitchen, AND a washer/dryer! All for less than previous trips elsewhere where we stayed in a 300 sq ft room. Other people have talked about the beds, they do not exaggerate- once you are able to climb up you never want to get out especially after a day of beach walking/hiking/swimming- we slept like champs! Beach tennis and shuffleboard was fun as well! But the most important part to keep returning to were the staff and how they, along with every person we met, were just super friendly and nice! We will be back!

Perfect relaxing holiday
Had a wonderful 10 days at Mount Cinnamon and will definitely will be back. Having stayed at many hotels across the Caribbean I can say without hesitation that this is in a class of it’s own. It far exceeded expectations and is excellent in all aspects. The cinnamon suites are tastefully furnished and well appointed. The views are stunning even from the lower levels. The walk to and from the beach isn’t difficult and the gardens and grounds are beautifully tended. Grand Anse beach is stunning there are always plenty of sun loungers no need to reserve. The sea is gently shelving and great for swimming. The standard of food and drink at the resort is outstanding. Really there is nothing to not like and the staff are wonderful, welcoming, attentive and friendly. Thanks to Laura and her great team, too numerous to mention everyone but thanks to Rondell for being the resident fashionista, Sabrina for keeping me company at lunch when I was eating alone and Cecile for being simply the best. If you want peace and quiet, rest and relaxation, this is the place. Don’t hesitate to book, just go you won’t regret it!
