We use only local produce and fresh ingredients, source our own fish and meat and carry hundreds of bottles of wines from around the world. Don’t miss sitting at the “Bar Azul” and having the bartender prepare you his or her own tropical creation. Live local musicians every night add to the lively ambiance.

    Our menu incorporates Asian and Latin flavors, with sushi rolls, wok dishes, and fresh seafood specials. The décor resembles a “Pulperia,” a traditional Costa Rican bar.

    There’s something almost magical about walking from our tropical
    gardens into an unexpectedly plush room in the middle of the
    rainforest. Everything about Amor Loco will seduce you, from
    its ambiance to the food. The dishes are avant-garde and beautiful to behold—from the delicate stuffed zucchini blossoms and local hearts of palm salad to the red snapper and beef tenderloin. Live music adds to the warm, romantic ambiance.

    Best resort hands down!

    The best resort, service was above and beyond, they spoil you with attention and made sure my children felt important also. The rooms were amazing and the resort is beautiful and huge! And there is animals, sloths, birds, pigs, around almost like the rainforest. A little pricey, but, every cent is worth it!

    Simply Great

    Stayed in Nayara tented camp from 3 July to 9 July 25 with my family. It’s an Ecellent place to stay in the midst of the rain forest ! The tents have all amenities & well maintained. The landscaping merges with the natural forest environment & extremely well maintained. All The staff is very courteous, caring and leave no stone unturned to impart ‘ customer delite ‘ . We were able see many colourful birds & frogs in around the grounds . To make a great place even better, I have a suggestion: An exhaust fan in the toilet & a clothes hook in shower, toilet area would be great .

    Best Honeymoon!

    We decided to stay at Nayara Tented Camp for a week on our honeymoon and it was the best decision in the world. I could write a book on all of our amazing experiences here, but I will focus on two important aspects: the place and the people. The Place - the resort is gorgeous. Our room was spotless, roomy, and cozy. When we arrived, there was a heart made out of petals on our bed and a “Happy Honeymoon” note. We golf carted through the springs and the gardens, and while those rooms are also desirable, nothing compares to the luxury and feeling of being in the tented camp. It was amazing to hear the sounds of the rainforest and to see all sorts of animals (birds, monkeys, sloths, frogs) around the resort. We stayed in June (rainy season) and I loved the afternoon rain storms- they were so relaxing from the comfort of our bed or outdoor hammock or at any of the open aired restaurants around the property. We didn’t feel like the rain prevented us from doing anything we wanted to do. The People - what really made our stay stand out was the staff. After spending a week there, we really became friendly with much of the staff and were sad to say good bye. From our smooth, late night check in with Fabricio, to Luis, Andrey, and Miguel greeting us with lovely morning conversation while setting up breakfast, to Luis, Andrey and Bryan chatting it up with us at the hot springs, adults only, and tented camp bars, to Brian and Blanco being our go-tos for golf cart rides, to Alexa at Ayla being so kind, to Katherine perfectly concocting a delicious drink made for my likes, to Naudy giving me the best massage of my entire life, the people are truly what put our experience over the top. Their kindness and attention to detail is something we will cherish and remember forever. We hope to see them again on our next visit!! Thank you to everyone at Nayara Tented Camp for an incredibly memorable experience!

    Excellent service!

    From the moment we arrived, the service at Nayara was superb! All of the staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful: Ariel at check-in and all of the cart drivers were so kind. The grounds were well maintained and the room was stunning. It was exactly the retreat we were looking for in Costa Rica! We highly recommend this resort which includes daily breakfast.
