AMOR LOCOThere’s something almost magical about walking from our tropicalgardens into an unexpectedly plush room in the middle of therainforest. Everything about Amor Loco will seduce you, fromits ambiance to the food. The dishes are avant-garde and beautiful to behold—from the delicate stuffed zucchini blossoms and local hearts of palm salad to the red snapper and beef tenderloin. Live music adds to the warm, romantic ambiance.

I’ve been lucky enough uo of stayed on some fantastic places over the years but this wonderful hotel tops them all.. from the moment you arrive in the elegant lobby you’re greeted by smiling , professional staff.. The grounds of the hotel are teaming with Wildlife , we saw so many birds, lizards , frogs and the highlight was out bell boy Kendall ( who was just brilliant ) taking is to see a Mother & baby sloth coming down from her tree a few blocks away to ‘bless the tree and earth’ for looking after her .. Our room was of course perfect , even for the 4 of us ( inc 2 teen girls ) plenty of space inside and out , to have your own hot spring pool with views of Arenal Volcano ( when the clouds parted ) I don’t think there’s anywhere else like this place .. All the restaurants are superb, breakfast at the tented camp was just a treat , again the staff wear always smiling and full of helpful information about the local area . Mentions to Kendall,The mixologist who made the most fantastic martini and the fabulously friendly waiter at breakfast and the fabulous ladies at the spa .. We took part in yoga in the rainforest pavilion along with beautiful spa treatments along with the sounds of rainforest all around … magical .. I could go on and on..it’s a very special place and we hope to return one day ..

Luxurious treat!
This resort was absolutely amazing. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. They are in the rainforest and from our room we saw monkeys, sloth, birds and many animals. The spring water pool was so relaxing after days filled with hiking and zip lining. The staff was amazing. Kind and welcoming. The grounds were clean and well maintained. We even sat in the bar and had great conversations with Jairo, the GM, and Caroline, the GM of the tented camps. Jose made us wonderful drinks and was great to visit with. They treat their staff well and all were happy to be working there. Highly recommended!

Nayara Tented Camps
Nayara springs is a magical place. Best trip I have ever been on. Aitana at tented camps went out of her way to make this trip something we will never forget, including this amazing, thoughtful gift of sloths we found and named. Raquel at Asian Luna was so incredible and made sure we had the best experience ever. Not only do they assist you but they truly care about every aspect of your experience Jack took so much time out of his day to help us find sloths. We enjoyed so much spending time in the golf carts talking with him, felt like a close friend of ours at the end of the trip I can’t say enough nice things about this place. We loved it so much we extended our stay as long as possible. A week I will never forget. To anyone who reads this at Nayara, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. You made it a trip of a lifetime. We are truly grateful Gary & Sam

Excellent
Incredible, 10/10. An absolute gem. The service was stellar, the facilities were excellent, 2 of the 3 restaurants were great (La Terraza not nearly as good as the other two). The staff we so incredibly attentive, even at full capacity. They materially impacted the experience. Authentic people hoping to help you have a great experience. Well done!

Amazing!!
We had an unforgettable stay at Nayara Tented Camp—a true paradise nestled in the rainforest. The setting is breathtaking, the accommodations are luxurious, and every detail is thoughtfully curated. Our kids had an absolute blast, from spotting wildlife to soaking in the plunge pool with volcano views. A special shoutout to Ariel, our host, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. His warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made our experience even more special. He was kind, attentive, and always one step ahead of our needs. This place is not only perfect for couples but also incredibly family-friendly. We’re leaving with beautiful memories and can’t wait to return.
