    Horrible customer service

I have never left a bad review before, but this experience deserves it. It was the worst customer service we have ever experienced and we are pretty easy going. Overall the hotel was ok - pools were nice, food was pretty bad, kids had fun, rooms were spacious. It was a decent distance to the beach (15 min walk) and while they did offer shuttles, at times it was busy and you had to wait for the next shuttle which added time. Definitely not a walk out to the beach type of place. It's marketed as a 5 star family friendly all inclusive, but this was not the case. Everything was a constant upsell with misinformation. It let to a lot of time wasted, frustrations and extra out of pocket costs. Incorrect times for water park availability, unless you pay more. Kids crafts, unless you pay more. Coupons and resort credits, that actually couldn't be applied for what we WERE TOLD we could use them for. And then our credit cards were charged and they refused to refund, even though they acknowledged we were not given the correct info. It was the oddest and worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. Additionally, our first room had a huge leak and no AC or power in the bedroom. It's unfortunate to need to move, but it can happen. However, they were extremely unhelpful and unapologetic when we tried to move rooms. We were basically a number and just had to keep checking back for another room. We were really looking forward to to this and overall it left a totally sour taste in our mouth. I know each experience can be unique, but there was a lot of poor communication and lack of care or customer service on many levels. I would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone. There are many other better run places.

We went to the hotel in April, and it was a terrible experience for those who couldn't consume gluten.

Worst place for gluten-free restrictions. There were no options, and nobody cared about it. Not coming back ever El peor lugar para personas con restricciones al gluten. No había opciones y a nadie le importaba. La pasamos muy mal, volvería mas.

    Not worth the expense

The service was horrible, other than the front desk staff the service was not on par for an all inclusive hotel. The food completely sucks, sushi place had bad quality of fish. Some of the food on the buffet were cold or been sitting out for a long time. Everyone that serve food looked like they hatted their job.

    Mitko

This is my first vacation review, but I really need to write it. Let’s start from good to really bad. Beach: great. Chairs always available, sand great; water – too. Bars: good, but empty. Probably because most of the people were families with small children. Great choice of premium drinks; delivered also on the beach. Suites (we were at a master suite): great, including the service. Huge terrace, with a tiny whirlpool. We don’t use pools, but they were not overly populated. Restaurants: 1) The buffet (Origen): it took us two days to find good food there. If you go there without a pre-existing experience – not good. A couple of days there was excellent seafood: lobster tails, huge shrimps, octopus. However, they receive it on a certain day and then re-serve it again. On the third day, the lobster smelled like a bad fish, not eatable. For a 5* all-inclusive, it is unacceptable to re-serve the same food for several days in a row. 2) Tori (Japanese) had nothing to do with Japanese cuisine, and was not very good. 3) Mangu was really good.4) Manchu was good, but offered only appetizers. And now: the REALLY BAD. I injured my foot and was almost unable to walk, with an unbearable pain. On our last day, we were told to call the reception to send us a vehicle for the luggage. We called 50 minutes in advance. In the next 20 minutes nobody came. We called again, and “the bellboy is leaving right now”. After waiting for another 15 minutes, we realized that we would be late for airport transport and left on foot with our luggage. In addition to long walking, there were stairs to climb up and down. I almost fell a couple of times. When I asked the receptionist why nobody came to pick up our luggage, he just smiled. It felt like a spit in the face.
