Jan 28, 2026Great place to soak up sun with your family
Kids had a blast. For us adults, we enjoyed the clean and spacious accommodation, great service, friendly staff, and fine entertainment. Hats off to the bartenders who really know their craft. If, however, you are going for a culinary experience, this resort is just so-so at the moment, not unusual for many all-inclusives.

I am currently at Paradisus Grand Cana and the hotel is unwilling to provide a response to a reservation inquiry because their reservation department does not function cohesively with other departments inside the hotel. Their reservation department seems to be some elusive figure that cannot communicate with their front desk. The resort accommodations are also very lacking compared to other AI resorts. I’ve been to other Melia hotels and came back because of positive experiences, but I am actively going to avoid booking any other Melia hotels in the future and ensure none of my family and friends book with them either.

Wonderful experience
The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food was not great for the 1st few days but the overall experience was wonderful. My room was exquisite The entertainment team was awesome especially Frederico, Charlie, Shaggy, the bartender Allie... to name a few who made our experience memorable.

Great resort! Foodies might be disappointed though.
A beautiful resort! We had a master swim up room and the accommodations were above expectations. All staff were friendly and tried to accommodate. The only complaint I have is the food quality at the restaurants requiring a reservation. Some of the offerings were not as advertised and came cold most of the time. The buffet was very good though. Overall a fabulous resort but the food quality does deserve some attention.
