    PPDC is PARADISE!

    It was the GREATEST pleasure to have stayed at Paradisus Playa del Carmen the week of Nov. 09 to Nov. 14 in room 2029. Room was modern, clean, and the towels + fridge were always replenished daily. From the moment we stepped on the resort to when we left, we were always greeted, taken care of, and our Concierge Team even came out to see us depart. The food and drinks were extremely good! We were even showered with gifts in our room almost daily. This was our 6th stay with Meliá Paradisus (Punta Cana, Cancun x2, Puerto Vallarta, Cozumel) and this one at PPDC was by far the BEST stay ever! Our Concierge Team Rodolfo, Brayan, Juan Antonio, and Karla were extremely attentive to all of our needs. Rodolfo made sure that all of our restaurant, YHI Spa, and Pool Cabana reservations were made. They also came around to check up on us throughout our stay to make sure we were being well taken care of. KUDOS to all the staff that truly stood out during our stay - Maria - Flora Restaurant Teresita - Pool Cabana/Towels Jairo - Pool Bar/Food Rachel - Pool Bar/Food Alfredo - Pool Bar/Food Nora - YHI Spa Barbara + another gal we can't remember her name (we had a couple's massage) - YHI Spa All restaurant staff (sorry we didn't note down the names) at - Tokimeku, Capella, Lemon Fish, Blue Agave, Sante, Hadar, Naos, and the Celsius Bar. And of course Isabelle at Circle Members that helped us transfer from our original Club Meliá Membership to Circle by Meliá. Con la mano en nuestros corazónes, MUCHAS GRACIAS A TODOS!!! We can't wait for our next Meliá Vacation!!!

    Excellent except the food

    Traveled as a family of 4 (children aged 7 and 5) and stayed in a Family Concierge Swim Out Master Suite in November 2025. Our personal concierge, Eduardo, was excellent having taken the time to remember all of our names and provide personalized gifts (activities, beach toys, cupcakes, stuffies, fish food and bubbles!) for the kids enjoyment. The entertainment group was also excellent. I have countless photos of face painting, balloon animals, the kids riding a mechanical bull, etc! While we’ve had better kids club experiences elsewhere (needs something truly unique and special to draw the kids in), the Kidsdom staff did a great job as well. Our room was also excellent, the only downside being the main door to the room wasn’t well sound proofed and noise carried into the suite early in the mornings. The food was the only disappointment. The speciality restaurants generally lacked spicing and were inconsistent if the same dish was ordered a second time. That being said, the buffet delivered and ended up being a go to for our family offering spicy Mexican, sushi, grilled meats and fish and everything else you could want.

    Relaxation and Sophistication

    I am a member of Club Melia. The resort is phenomenal. The personal concierge Rodolfo was amazing. He anticipated your every need and made all the reservations for you dinners and lunches. The atmosphere was perfect. An adult side and a family side gives you the best of both worlds. The rooms are outstanding and clean and I cannot stress how beating the property is and the wildlife on it makes it better.

    Amazing all inclusive experience

    This resort makes sure you have a great safe fun experience. Staff is very helpful and professional. Dafne Juarez is hard working and a great Melia representative. The server Grisley at the Celcius bar/ restaurant always made sure we had a fun delicious meal and is amazing with the children.

    Beautiful Family Resort - exceptional service, amazing holiday

    We spent 10 days at Paradisus in November 2025, on the Family side of the Resort, and with the Family Concierge upgrade. This resort is amazing. Exceptional service and attention to detail. We were spoiled from arrival. Whatever you need, you need only ask. We had a private concierge, Eduardo who was truly exceptional. The kids loved him and he was so engaged with them - it was really adorable. The food was exceptional. The a la carte restaurants were truly delicious. We LOVED Flora and could have eaten there every night. I have to eat gluten free and there were lots of options for me - including gluten free bread. Having access to the Lunch Box (private breakfast and lunch spot for Family Concierge) was a game changer. We loved all of the activities for kids (cookie decorating, painting, mini parties, movie nights, etc). They also do a pretty incredible job with the shows in the evening. 8 pm show time every day and usually done by 8:45 pm. The shows are really high quality for a resort and our kids really loved them. The shows are a bit loud and take place in the main building where the bulk of the restaurants are - so if your kiddos go to sleep before 8:45 you will want to bring a white noise machine and ask for a room farther away from the main building. It was a truly exceptional holiday and we can't wait to go back.
