  Christmas vacation 2025

  Shout out tie family concierge Erika who took amazing care of us during our stay! The room is spacious and service was great. The only downside was the level of noise in the rooms and you could hear noise from the bathroom if someone was in it we had an issue with our room being close to a service hall and repair were being done in the room across the hall from us, but Erica was able to move our room Smoothly and we were much happier in room 3031 at the end of the hall highly recommend the family concierge. Food was great! Be aware there are lots of young children and babies at this resort, that was the only downside as we were travelling with tweens and no longer in the “baby/toddler” phase of life

  If It weren’t for Samanya 🙏🏻

  This review is long overdue because the level of care we received on our recent stay at Paradisus Playa Del Carmen was genuinely extraordinary—and it was entirely because of the guest service manager, Samanya, who supported my family during a very vulnerable time. I was traveling as a single mom while recovering from a recent hemorrhoidectomy, which significantly limited my mobility and comfort. I was also traveling with my elderly mother, who has her own physical disability. From the moment Samanya became aware of our situation, she went above and beyond anything I could have expected. Samanya thoughtfully arranged accommodations that made a real difference for us—not just in theory, but in day-to-day practicality. Our suite felt like a true upgrade and was beautifully set up for my daughter, complete with a teepee, toys, and special amenities we had never received on previous visits. For an autistic child, this made the room feel magical; for a tired, recovering parent, it brought relief and gratitude. She also arranged our room location right next to an elevator, sparing unnecessary walking and physical strain for both me and my elderly mother and father -something that may seem small, but was profoundly meaningful given our limitations. Every detail felt intentional and compassionate. What impressed me just as much was her help with dinner reservations. She took care of making special reservations for our family even though this service is typically reserved for concierge guests, and even though reservations usually must be made before 4 pm upon arrival. Her willingness to help removed stress I simply did not have the capacity to manage while recovering. One of the most touching moments happened entirely unexpectedly. She happened to see us one day at the pirate pool—where my daughter spent most of her time—and later surprised us with a special carrot cake dessert and a thoughtful handmade Christmas gift and handwritten note. That kind of gesture goes far beyond professional obligation; it reflects genuine care and attentiveness. Samanya didn’t just provide “good service.” She showed humanity, awareness, and kindness at a time when it mattered deeply. She helped me feel supported, seen, and respected while navigating a physically challenging recovery—and she helped make this trip special for my daughter as well. Because of her, this stay stood out in a way I will never forget. Paradisus Playa Del Carmen is fortunate to have someone like her representing the heart of their guest experience. I hope her leadership recognizes just how exceptional she is. Thank you, Samanya, for turning what could have been an extremely difficult trip into one filled with comfort, dignity, and unexpected joy.

  Paradisus was the most attentive customer service I have received. The location's proximity and ride services to our outside destinations were also handled amazingly!

  Family vacation

  Came out to Playa Del Carmen for my husbands 50th bday! Great time. Resort is beautiful and we loved all the amenities.

  Paradisus, a slice of paradise!!

  The location seemed good! About 50 minutes ride from the airport to the resort and a 5 minute taxi ride to 5th avenue in Playa where all of the local shopping is. Scenery was nice and the staff worked hard to keep the resort looking clean. All of the staff was super friendly, warm and welcoming. Every one of the staff always had a smile for you every where you went. Our family concierge was extremely helpful updating us each on daily activities, switching our dinner reservations when we would change our minds about a plan, or booking us for excursions. The beach was clean and the staff would encourage beach volleyball games and soccer most days we were there. The food was really good for an all inclusive. We didnt feel like we got tired of anything we were eating there. Staff always worked hard to give service and deliver fresh food. They had an ice cream shop with delicious flavors and a coffee shop open 24 hours. The cave tour we did was really cool! It was about a 40 minute drive and had zip lines for our boys. All in all an amazing experience!! Wouldn't change a thing about the experience. Props to the staff, we left last night and we already miss them!!
