Great entertainment at planet Hollywood
I had a great time at planet Hollywood Cancún the food was great and the service was okay but best of all, the entertainment ran by Sharen, Paulina and jasmine was the best part of the trip. They were sure to keep us entertained throughout the day with games and activities that had us loose track of time from all the fun. All in all I would recommend to any families looking for a fun vacation.

Great stay for our honeymoon
We visited for our honeymoon for a week end of Nov/Dec We booked family side but star class ocean view. I was a bit worried about not being on adult side, but we wanted the upgraded room rather than just standard on adult side. And I have got to say we were not disappointed at all. We arrived a bit later than first thought due to the shocking arrivals situation at cancun… so it was dark. Must say first impressions were really good. We had an amazing welcome… having a round of applause as we walked in was lovely! Check-in at star class was really easy! We then got taken to our room… we were in room 21405. We walked into our room and thought wow! It was huge! Bed was massive, bathroom looked lovely, big living area with a sofa, fridge full of drinks and snacks! Like I said dark when we arrived but we could see the sea and star class pool from our room, we couldn’t wait to see the view in the morning. And we were not disappointed… the view was incredible! The sunrise view from the room was beautiful! Star class pool… lovely pool, nice and relaxed, bed really comfortable and great service at the bar and grill. My one little niggle was the need to get up early for beds… although coming from the uk with jet lag didn’t seem to be an issue for us. We missed the foam party as we were on an excursion. Restaurants - buffet was nice, had plenty of choice and food was good. We ate here in the evening twice and did the job. Breakfast was really good, so much choice! And my husband really liked the fresh omelettes. We tried the Mexican, Italian and the steakhouse, all really nice food! I loved the fact it was full table service here. Food was lovely in all 3 and service was great. The shores restaurant for breakfast was lovely too! Nice and quiet with good choice of food. Guys burgers was great too, and quick service when we sat down. Entertainment - I must say we didn’t use too much of this. We watched the circus show, but we missed the others either due to tiredness or being out. Seemed to be good. The entertainment on star class pool seemed a bit more chilled to the other pools, but suited us fine. Overall we had a great stay! We loved the grounds of the hotel, lovely to walk around. Beach was beautiful, next to no seaweed, sea was lovely and warm. (We didn’t go in sea for a few days due to the wind). Amenities we used… lazy river, good fun but hard to get around with a drink in hand haha! Arcade was good fun. We also had a hydrotherapy session included in our stay and 100% recommend that! Was lovely and relaxing! I think the hotel is quite aimed at families, but as a couple in our 30s we had a great time. Maybe would have been good to have been on adult side, but definitely glad we had star class! Our butlers Jess and Octavio were great and helped us out when we needed! Just a note to excursions (booked through the hotel) definitely do the Isla Mujeres trip on th PH boat. We also visited a cenote and turtle swimming. Both great days. We also did coco bongos… and if you are travelling without kids we can 100% recommend that!
