    Aruba Girls trip 2.0

    Overall it was a great experience. It was our first time not doing an all inclusive and we have no regrets. The RadissonBlu delivered it still gave the resort vibe although it’s a hotel / residence. The service : Fantastic everyone was pleasant and patient. Dondré was extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He didn’t hesitate in offering assistance and keeping the champagne flowing. Peter and Santos were also very hospitable ensuring we were always comfortable during our stay . The location: Top tier most things are walkable your surrounded by restaurants and near the Palm Beach strip. The beach is very very close you don’t even really need the shuttle although it is available. There are buses near by that can also take you around the island if you want to explore downtown or the other beaches etc . You can also grab a taxi at the concierge The rooms : Are amazing great for group trip ( ie . Girls trips , bachelorette, family vacay ). The separate bedrooms and access to multiple bathrooms with a kitchenette is great . Only area for improvement I would say is the condensation near the vents overtime is something to look out for but not bad. And I’d love more onsite activity options. The pools: Love love Love! My favorite was the Infinity pool it’s a total vibe .

    Mould in the room, air con can't be turned off. avoid this hotel

    Short version Air con can't be turned off, led to damp and actual mould in the room. pool is cold. Front desk staff basically told me where to go when I asked them what they would do about it. Long version We had issues right from day 1. Initially had a ground floor room with balcony. The balcony door didn't have a lock. Front desk said it wasn't an issue as the balcony doors don't open from the outside. they do. they reluctantly moved us to another room as we were concerned about leaving valuables including passports and a laptop in the room. The room we were moved to smelled of damp and it was really cold. on numerous occasions, we noticed the dining table was moist and the floor was actually wet with condensation. I called and spoke to the front desk a few times but they informed me it could not be turned off in any hotel room. this was, apparently, hotel policy to prevent damp and mould. it had the opposite effect. we ended up with mould all over my wife's laptop bag. it had been sitting in the room, untouched for approx a week. on our last night, whilst packing, we noticed the mould on the bag. the front desk sent the head of security up to investigate. he took lots of photos and said he would write a report. he also got us to send photos and videos we took directly to him via WhatsApp.we asked for a copy of the report but were told it was for internal use only and that we were not allowed to see it. he assured us that management would be in first thing in the morning and would discuss our concerns then arrange to meet with us prior to our departure. he also confirmed he would go to the front desk, arrange to get us a new room and would be back shortly. as he had not returned nearly 1 hour later, I made my way to reception but met him on the way. he said another guest had raised an issue with the temperature in their room so he was off dealing with that. nice that they were more important than us. we had already clearly explained to him when he first came to our room that my wife suffers from asthma and that mould was a serious concern. seems we were OK waiting as the other guest was too hot / cold. we eventually got moved to another room and were again assured that management would meet with us in the morning before we departed for the airport. at check out, I asked to speak to the managers, as promised the night before. I was told that they were all unavailable and that we should take up any concerns with Agoda as we made the reservation with them. when I asked how they could possible assist with an issue directly attributed to the hotel and it's policy around keeping air con on 24/7, the response I received was something like "you booked with a 3rd party, take it up with them" my wife and I were appalled and asked to speak to someone more senior and he replied "I'm the supervisor and that's our response" I would give this hotel a negative rating if it was actually possible. the issue was raised with Agoda who contacted the hotel for their response. despite chasing several times, the hotel have yet to come back with a reply. totally unacceptable, quite possibly the worst customer service from any hotel I've stayed with in 54 countries across multiple continents. oh, and the pool is cold. not that it isn't heated. it's so cold it will give you goosebumps!

    Beautiful place to stay

    All of the staff were amazing , I wish I could remember all of their names,but Leonardo, and Peter were very helpful ! Our housekeeper Nelsa was very sweet and did an awesome job keeping our room clean !

    The moment we walked into this resort we were greeted by the most friendly staff, everyone was so willing to help to make your stay the best possible experience, Peter and Nelsa were our favorite!!
