  Nice resort, Nice Location, Wonderful Flamingo Island

  The resort is very nice and clean. The rooms were quiet and beds comfortable. We stayed at the adults side, Marina. We stayed 4 nights. I enjoyed the casino, small but lots of slots and free drinks if you play long enough. We liked the location for our first Aruba trip. We heard wonderful things about Flamingo Island. It did not disappoint. We spent two days visiting. We saw pink flamingos, iguanas, pelicans . Definitely a highlight. You can purchase food/drinks to your room. The water taxi comes through a tunnel into the hotel. Very neat. We were very happy with the valet people. Very pleasant, helpful and accommodating There are two reasons for 4 stars. 1). Towards the end of our stay we had some not so accommodating interactions with the front desk. We asked a question about Kings Day celebration. The gentleman got on the phone, proceeded to ignore us completely for 20 minutes, not sure he was inquiring about our question. I had to interrupt him and tell him we had to go. We had a dinner reservation. Our second interaction was upon checkout. A young gentleman took us, printed out a bunch of papers, to hand to his co-worker. Only 1 page was handed to us with no communication at all. No "thanks for staying" Nothing. Not a word. When I reviewed the statement they didn't even have me in the right state! I don't live in New York. 2) We had transportation to/from the airport with DePalms. We're just curious why they dropped us off in our lobby and to be picked up we had to shuttle our luggage to the Family Resort, across the street. These are small things that definitely can be overlooked; but still didn't end our visit on the best note.

  LOVE THE CASINO

  Took Blackjack class with Benjamin Martina was very helping and had a great one on one. LOVE this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and very attentive love the location of the hotel and the staff are courteous and kind will press my luck at blackjack k

  Renaissance Island 4/15/2025

  We were on a cruise ship and bought the day pass because my wife wanted to see flamingos. The initial impression said this is going to be awesome. 1st we were picked up in the hotel lobby on a boat by Alex, amazing boat captain, and great sense of humor. He made the ride out as top rate as we hoped. Once on the island and seated at our beach chairs, Sugerly, probably misspelled, but (pronounced) sugar lee, made the day easily one of the top three days we've ever had while traveling. The drinks and drink service were on point, the food....we both had the blackened fish and being very particular about our seafood, we both think it may have been the best fish we've ever ate!!!! Time to head back and Alex was our ride back as well. Do yourself a favor and buy/book the daypass!!!!

  Jacques Midi - best bartender ever at Sole Bar !!!!!

  I recently stayed a Renaissance Wind Creek in Aruba. The bar at the resort, "Sole Bar" really made our trip!!! The bar tender Jacques Midi is AMAZING!!! So welcoming and extremely accommodating to our drink requests. Jac is the best!!! Thank you Jac for making our vaca fantastic!!!! :)

  Sensational

  I went with my girlfriend we both are in our late 20’s and we had truly a 10/10 weekend. This is the first trip we did resort style and wow did they set the bar high. From the customer service to the friendly faces on the pool deck/renaissance island taking our orders - just a truly unforgettable weekend. we stayed at the adult hotel and the room was exactly what we expected, very cozy. Anytime we went to the pool there were always chairs. The renaissance island is everything you have read about. Get there early and have the best time ever we got there at 8 am and left at 5 PM. We did the massages on the island and that was sensational. The steak house in the hotel was fantastic, great meat selections and wine as well. Casino was fun but nothing to rave about, wish they had craps! It’s okay though we loved just spending time walking around and spending the days in the sun. Will be coming back!
