The hotel is in an ideal location 10 minutes from la caleta. Bus stops right outside. Staff are amazing. Andre, Wilson and Gerrado on the pool bar were fantastic. Vale aka our cleaner the room was spotless. Room was a bit tired could do with an update but the rest of the hotel amazing! Pool area spotless, pool very clean. Buffet superb spread.

Lovely relaxing hotel in a great location
We have just returned from a week’s stay and had a great time. Loved the hotel and the location. We had never been to Tenerife before so we were relieved to find the hotel was near to La Caleta and not in the heart of Costa Adeje which is very commercialised and busy. The hotel is very quiet and relaxing. There are no daytime activities or animation team which suited us. There was a mixture of nationalities staying there and the age-group was varied too. It certainly wasn’t full of retirees when we were there. I asked if we could have a high floor with a room that got the sun in the afternoon and that was precisely what we got which was great - thank you. The food in the restaurant was very good with lots of choice. We just had a few niggles - the room was a little tired and needed a refurb, the fridge was very noisy and the door wouldn’t shut properly unless you removed the plastic shelf inside the door. Although there is a safety deposit box in the wardrobe, you had to pay to use it. This is wrong and a money making scam. Why should you pay to use something that’s already in the room - you wouldn’t expect to pay to use the TV!! The towels in the bathroom are small and thin. Despite those issues, I am still prepared to give the hotel 5 stars especially because of the price we paid - it was well worth the money and we would definitely go back.

Best hotel ever
This is by far the best hotel I have ever been to. The welcome was second to none , rooms are always clean and immaculate. We arrived really late from a flight and they even kept food back for us just in case we were hungry , this was such a lovely touch and we're very grateful for it. The cleaners came everyday and did an amazing job and the grounds were looked after everyday, you can tell they have a great standard. The pools were lovely and was so nice to have a choice of either being on the complex or if you just go down the path there was a beautiful infinity pool over looking the sea. Now the food was incredible it was always well stocked soooooo much choice you just can't pick I never had a bad meal it was all so delicious so hats off to all of those hard working chefs ! Thank you so much for having me and my family we were so sad to come home ! And a big shout out to everyone who worked there they were always so kind and accommodating and had a very good sense of humour ! Thank you again Riu Arecas memories to last a lifetime ♥️

Very quiet relaxing hotel. Very prompt to respond to requests. Entertainment has much improved since last visit. Can't wait for next visit. Will definitely visit again.
