Service was impressive. Sea and beach are beautiful. Hotel itself is a little outdated, room and furniture unfortunately smelled like mildew, but I'm sure that's difficult to manage oceanside. Staff work hard to maintain the property, which can be appreciated. 3 pools, one with a swim up bar. 1 unheated whirlpool. We liked the buffet option for nearly early meal. One thing we thought was odd, is that all pools close at 7pm daily. Overall, nice spot.

Since being move here because of the reno at EIU Caribe it has become our go to resort for our vacations. It’s a great location shopping, restaurants, and nightlife within a 15 minute walk. Staff at the resort are the best and go out of the way to make sure your stay is great.

i called the receptionist the from the first day my wife and I were there to the last day that we left for some one to come fix the SMALL TV in our room that was out of service, but no one bothered to come. Very disappointed. Also, the bathroom needs to be changed...when showered water was splashing out on to the floor everywhere, had to use/replace 3-4 towels a day on floor... same was the room across from us too. The beds were terrible and couldn't sleep comfortably each night. However, the resort was perfect and very clean. Rooms just need to be updated.

RIU CANCUN
We had a fantastic stay here and absolutely loved it that much we are going back next year. All staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you. Room was very clean and loved the birthday and towel decorations thank you. Drinks were great and service excellent. Only criticism would be the evening entertainment. Some nights were good with dance or folklore shows but others absolutely boring lacking entertainment. But overall we had a great stay and done some fantastic trips in and around Cancun.

A Memorable, Class-worthy Vacation
If you want a memorable world-class vacation, RIU is the KEY.!! Had a blast! The hotel was amazing..the food, drinks and entertainments was excellent.!! i'd give this hotel a two thumbs up.!! 👍👍
