LIVE PARASITES IN FOOD
During dinner, I made a salad and discovered a live parasite in it as I began to eat. The manager, though initially apologetic, quickly lost her sympathetic demeanor. We received no compensation for this incident. Instead, she suggested we try the steakhouse. We waited there for 45 minutes, watching others who arrived after us enjoy their meals. Eventually, she offered to deliver the food to our room, but by then, we had lost our appetite and didn't want to eat. The next day, she didn't follow up with us or offer any additional amenities. When we asked for a refund, she was rude and claimed she had nothing to offer. Avoid eating here unless the food is thoroughly cooked or reviewed before consumption. The staff, however, was friendly, and the facility was clean. But what does cleanliness matter when you lose your appetite after such an experience?

Awesome resort!!
Great adults only resort! Food was comparable to any all inclusive, beautiful location, amazing rooms, pools, beach access. Only complaints are the entertainment was a little lacking, you can shuttle to the Riu party resorts but not much going on at the resort. The location also lacks any visibility to a sunset, but you can find a spot nearby to see that if you want!

A Vacation To Remember!
We had an amazing time at your resort. We were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary. The food was amazing! The beach was clean and the color of the water was breathtaking! Our room and the whole resort/grounds were very clean and the staff was exceptional. We also enjoyed our bottle of champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries with a note wishing us a happy anniversary. Our only complaint was the location of the bathrooms while in the pools. They were too far away and too small to accommodate that many people. Also, the swim up pool was far too small for the amount of people that were in it. We chose not to go in it due to many not getting out of the pool to use the "far-away bathrooms.

Great time at Riu Kukulcan
Originally I had reseerved for Riu Palace Las Americas. But got offered a upgrade to Riu Palace Kukulcan. I havent stayed at LA before, so I dont know how much of an upgrade it was. However I dont regret it. I had a blast at this hotel, is beautiful, clean, well kept and they made a great effort to keep the beach clean of seaweed. I have to mention a few people that were outstanding in their customer service. To start with on the Front Desk, Fernanda was absolutely amazing. She made sure that we were taken care off and not only that, but during our stay, she made sure we were happy with our room and remembered us by name. Not that it was necessary, but it shows they love what they do and Fernanda shows that proffesionalism to the standard as a hotel like this. On the buffet we enjoyed our waitress Rosangela, who always made sure that we were taken care off. Pool attendants are outstanding, specially Addy, wow she was a machine, always on the move. The thing that we personally disliked was that the evening of the Riu Party there was nothing to do onsite and I thought that was disappointing. I understand not having a show. But atleast they could have put some music videos, a DJ, a movie or anything for people like us that dont necessarily enjoy going to another location for the party. So if you are not going to the Riu Party, just be prepared to not have anything to do in the hotel. Other than that, the entertainment and food is good. Our favorite restaurant was the Japanese restaurant. Buffet is good, pool are super. We always found lounge chairs in the pool and the beach. The hotel never felt full neither at the common areas, bars or restaurants.
