Fit for Royalty
This hotel is well named as a Palace. A great place for a relaxing holiday with excellent dining. The aircon in the large rooms is silent but effective. Highly recommended.

Was ok not a 5 star
This hotel was nice but wouldn’t state it as a 5 star. On a positive the rooms were big, staff were lovely and the place was very clean. On a downfall to the hotel was we had children aged 2 and 6 months and got stared at lots of times by people ad they was upset or crying. Most people who visit are older generations and they look down at us younger ones which I hated. There wasn’t a lifeguard for the full 10 days we was there even tho a British boy drowned in Tenerife this past month. There was some cups still left out on a morning round pool from the previous day that had not been cleaned. There was 2 adult pools and a full adult area however could only use kids floats in only half of the swimming pool and no ball games in the pool. It was a 20-30 min walk to a decent priced bar or food along the beach. We never got out bedding changed even tho the maid would have seen baby sick on it and dirt from the toddler on her bed. But we had to go down to reception to ask to be changed. Also there wasn’t any changing or showering facility when we checked out. We flew at 7:15pm and had to be out for 12 they didn’t allow any extra time even tho had 2 poorly kids. €28 a hour to keep it. Then luckly we had timer a family there so used there room to shower in before the travel home. I wouldn’t come here if u have kids only because they don’t rly cater for them as it’s mostly seafood or just started burger etc on a evening and no kids club and no entertainment for kids not even a disco…wouldn’t be coming back bc we have kids and didn’t fit there needs.

Birthday break in June
My wife and myself spent 10 days at the Riu palace in Tenerife, as a birthday treat . In general the resort worked for us , rooms were good size and appointed with the kind of equipment you would expect , location was excellent , with direct access to the beach and paved areas , as we walked for hours early and late to avoid the heat of the day , we really appreciated this. Food quality was good , although we needed to be careful as I'm shell fish intolerant , and why wife is vegetarian so we needed to make judgement on what was being presented. A few issues that occurred in the 10 days - 1) the RIU shuttle bus that we paid for in our booking , didn't really work for us , it was a contract hire to a local minibus company who sat at the airport with about 5 couples for about 1 1/2 hours before the driver even thought about moving ? we paid for our own taxi as we left , cost us 40 euros but worth it to get to the airport in 18 mins rather than hours ? 2) 40 Euros for the safe hire ? you need to think about that one. first hotel ever I've been charged like that . 3)Some of the common area looked bit tired and worn . 4) As safety feature I would have appreciated some dim night light arrangement to guide you to the toilet in the early hours , room was pitch black .

Would definitely recommend 👌
Thank you, Riu Palace for once again for a fabulous holiday. We arrived on my birthday 🎂 to flowers 💐, fruit and cava in our room.As always the hotel is immaculate and staff are fantastic. We have travelled all over the world and stopped at many Riu Palaces. Costa Adeje is still one of our favourites.Just a couple of niggles. The SOS pool staff need to remind people that no floats are allowed in one of the pools to ensure that those who want to swim can do so. I had to inform some SOS on too many occasions, which can cause friction between guests. Also please can the buffet cut down on the amount of oil they use to cook and not cook vegetables in oil. I know we are on holiday but still prefer to eat healthy 😋. Vegetables just tasted of oil. We would still recommend this hotel and will definitely return 👍

Another 5 star holiday!
Once again RIU Palace Tenerife met and sometimes exceeded expectations.. All staff are friendly and professional. Good food and sunshine in perfect location. What more could you want? Just 2 small niggles. Please stop charging for use of safe and improve the standard of towels both in rooms and at poolside.
