Came with my brother and had such a good time! We really enjoyed the buffet at both reggae and Montego Bay as well as the jerk hut. We never made reservations for the restaurants and were still super happy with the food and service. The entertainment was better on the Montego Bay side, more interactive and fun I would say. The pool parties were so fun and I loved meeting people from around the world. Thanks for a great stay!

May 09, 2025Very nice resort but seriously noisy.
Stayed at Riu Reggae for a week in April over Easter. Resort was very clean, food was amazing and the people were great. Shout out to bartenders Michelle and Delroy. Our server at the steakhouse Jaheim and our server at breakfast and lunch Zahaire, who always remembered where we liked to sit and what we liked to drink. Room was very clean and comfortable. Loved the mini bar with the actual bar bottle dispenser. Also made a request on the first day to not have sugar free Coke as I’m allergic and they fixed it immediately. Ok so now the not so great depending on how you like your vacations. I went in knowing it was a louder more “party” location. After researching I felt that there was going to be enough areas that were quieter that we could relax and read. This was not the case. It was loud music, yelling & drunk people from the time you got up to the time you went to bed (and beyond). The “quiet” pool is less busy yes, but too close to the party pool and you cannot even have a conversation it’s so loud. Also encountered exuberant guests in the buffet who were so loud you didn’t want to eat there as you couldn’t even think. My biggest complaint was I didn’t sleep through the night once in 7 days as people were screaming in the halls all night long. Also I get it’s Jamaica but the smell of pot is overwhelming at this resort no matter where you are. This all said, I would recommend this resort to a younger crowd that doesn’t need sleep or relaxation.

This would not be the ideal spot for older people, over the age of 40. Very nice hotel, but younger audience. I did not like the fact that the drinks were so watered down (pre mixed), that my wife who does drink and gets drunk from one, could take 10+ drinks in a setting and not have a buzz. Other than the young crowd and watered down, pre mixed drinks, we had a BLAST at this location. The service was excellent, food was absolutely good, rooms very clean. So if you stay here, my only advice is to get a couple bottles of alcohol f4om the duty free at the airport, and you will have the TIME OF YOUR LIFE!!!!

Fantastic 11 nights
We have just returned from a 11 night stay in this hotel, and had the best holiday ever. The hotel is beautiful , and all the staff are very friendly. We enjoyed the food, and never got bored of eating at the hotel, we tried all al a cartes, and enjoyed those experiences . The party atmosphere is great, and the entertainment team work very hard, and the dancing is superb. Shows all fantastic , and the neon and white nights were a great night out . No quiet areas in the hotel, which was fine with us, but won’t be for everyone. We will be returning soon
