I loved this resort. I am looking to come back. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. The bar tenders, wait staff, chefs and especially the butlers.

Jul 26, 2025Please Avoid unless you like a 2/3 star hotel.
Hotel and beach is lovely but the whole Hotel is ran on how little can they spend whilst being all inclusive. Arrived to the outdoor reception and was told to leave our bags and wait for the golf buggy to transfer us to the Diamond Cloud, after waiting over an hour we walked to the Diamond Cloud which was only about 200m away, we booked in and asked about our bags and we're told they would be brought to our room. Waited another hour no bags so I decided to go down to the Diamond Club only to find out bags sat outside so I took them back to the room. Now for the food it was terrible, specialist restaurants that have to be booked but always busy. The steak restaurant was shocking waited ages for steak, fries and Mac cheese and was shocked what arrived on my plate.. A thin steak, a thimble of fries and pasta disguised as Mac n cheese (see photo) Buffet restaurant was advertised as themed each night but the menu was the same every day, pizza, pasta, fish, salad and some sort of curry. It was so bad my wife never ate in the once in 7 days. Sports bar advertised as open for food up until 2 am but found it was closed at 11 pm one night. Tried the ribs, burger and fries but the ribs were overcooked, fries tasted like they were old ones recooked and the burger was cold. The only godsend was as a Diamond Club member we could use the Italian restaurant for breakfast which was cooked to order, which was nice so we ate a good breakfast every morning so to avoid lunch. The bar staff are not happy doing their job and take their time to serve customers as if they don't want to be there. One day I was at the beach bar waiting to be served and the bar staff ignored me and served a guy next to me a few rounds of rum which is ok of he was a customer but he was a vendor on the beach who rents out the jet skis? Paid extra for the Diamond Club experience wow what a joke, small reception which doubles as an exclusive bar for members only, priority booking for restaurants but that wasn't true it's on a first come booking system. Private pool and beach for members another joke the pool and bar are all one so nothing stopping any guest going where they want, the beach had a rope going down the middle which indicated the members part of the beach ? To cut a long story short it was that bad my wife and I left this Hotel after 7 days of our paid 14 day holiday and booked into another hotel to avoid our holiday being ruined .

The drive onto the property and the check-in lobby are not impressive; however, most of the staff are friendly. Small resort with lackluster nightly entertainment. The buffet is subpar, but the specialty restaurants were very good. Recommend updating property buildings.

Jul 25, 2025Royalton Antigua resort and spa, is a beautiful resort. The Diamond club is worth it.
The resort is a nice size not too overwhelming and very well kept. The rooms are lovely. The beach and pool are wonderful. The team that took care of us Shauna -Kay and Bernice were marvelous. They always made sure we had our reservations for dinner and anything we needed. They were incredibly attentive and helpful. The staff is very friendly and charming. The weather was exquisite. The water was always warm. The gym is fantastic, lots of equipment for light to heavy lifting, yoga ,stretching, stationary bike, stair climber, rowing machine, and treadmills. The pool aqua aerobics were a really great workout. Mr. Awesome the instructor was hysterical. They had fun activities throughout the day. We took some lovely excursions around the beautiful island of Antigua. We met lots of lovely people from the United States, England, and around the world If the food had been more to our liking, I would’ve given it a five star rating. The breakfast buffet was nice and offered a lot of options. Sharon always made great omelettes. The flavoring for the food for dinner was not within my preference. We tried all the different restaurants, but none of them really impressed us for dinner. The food was OK. The service was always great.

This gym was the best and it was great
The gym has lots of space,very big and has all the machines i need to have a proper workout. The staff is also very helpful and tye best staff in my opinion is jameel
