Apr 30, 2025Want a Luxury, Customer Service Friendly Resort? XX
Selected this hotel as it is an Autograph Collection, excellent photos and the most important, Diamond Club with private Butler. Our chaos started with an overcharge of $122, where Ms. Yareiny indicated that my bank was charging us an international fee. Wrong!!! My Bank does not charge an international fee, she converted dominican pesos to USD erroneously. After about an hour, she acknowledged that she had mistakenly overcharged us and that the problem needed to be fixed with Finance. Here comes the room!!! On their website it clearly indicates that Diamond Club guests have rooms with great views, sure, we had an amazing view to tje back road. Room had cockroaches, yes, you are reading right. Upon arrival, I was awaiting my courtesy bottle of sparkling wine which was never given to us. Remember Ms Yareiny indicated Finance was going to resolve the issue? Well here comes the following day, we get a message from our butler to pass through the Diamond Club Lounge, we processed to visit the lounge, Ms. Dualba was awaiting for us, we never received an apology; a good afternoon; we are so sorry that you had to stop drinking your piña colada; instead she started indicating that she was going to refund $115. I immediately indicated its $122… she continued on saying, no your bank charges an international fee. We tried to explain to Ms Dualba in different ways, that Ms Yareiny did not do the conversion correctly. She continued with arrogance and with lack of professionalism to talk over us, for the end to say “you can dispute this with your bank” and left us there in the office like “wow”. If you want luxury, ambience, great customer care, my suggestion, Do not stay here.

At Royalton Splash,, although the staff was great, the room was outdated and needed repair. Food was mostly terrible at the buffet and at some of the restaurants. Water park was nice. We did one snorkling excursion which was nice and at a great value.

Not worth it
Worst Royalton I ever went to. Buffet is DISGUSTING but at least we did not get sick except couple of stomach cramps. Room was ok.. work is needed. Air conditioner was not working properly. Booking a la carte is difficult. After three days we were all ready to go. Don’t feel for the invite to go breakfast in exchange of a sell presentation, you will loose 3hrs of your expensive vacation with sellers trying to push you to sign on the moment for their prime club at 50k. Once we told them no they dropped the price to 20k, and then 8k for 5 years for us to try. It’s a scam. Believe the reviews you see, worst all inclusive experience. I would go to Cuba instead of coming back here, food is better in Cuba to give you an idea.

I recently stayed at this resort with my family. We had a wonderful time. The grounds were immaculate and facilities generally well kept up. We were part of the diamond club, which worked out quite well. Our butler, Sydney, was very responsive and helped us throughout our stay. My family enjoys tennis and we played several times as well as one Pickleball event. The individual in charge of the tennis and Pickleball facility, Miguel, was very helpful to us during our stay and is a nice addition to the property. The restaurants and food were good but not the highlight. Being able to enjoy the other property (Royalton Punts Cana) with access to the ocean beach was a must.

Fantastic family resort!
Our vacation was fantastic. Our butler, Edwin Berroa went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. 100% recommend! Entertainment on resort was super fun and all staff were very friendly! Rooms were spotless and comfortable!
