The food could be better, however it is an all inclusive so perfectly understandable. Staff is AMAZING, helpful, nice and always trying to go above and beyond for the guest. Leidi from Selections is wonderful, she made 2 teas for my sore throat. Stephanie from Selections was also an amazing waitress. Freddy was also super helpful ALWAYS. Ashley took care of my transfers and all restaurant reservations and was always in her best disposition to help.

DO NOT BOOK WORST DECISIONS EVER– Misleading, Overpriced, and a Complete Scam We booked what was advertised as a luxury, family-friendly, all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana with upgraded Butler service. What we experienced was the complete opposite. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Rooms were rundown and dilapidated – cracked walls, patched ceilings, broken mirrors, and extremely old bedding with paper-thin sheets. The “upgraded” room we paid for turned out to be a basic standard room with none of the amenities promised. Food was another disappointment. Despite advertising multiple dining options, only three restaurants were available per night, and you could not book a table for more than four people—even with small children in your party. Reservations were impossible to get; we couldn’t book anything over the 48hr available time frame given to us, because everything was already full. We were told that we would have to use two phones simultaneously throughout the day checking to see if the app had openings for table tables available. We were given an estimated time of 5 PM but told it could be anywhere from 3 PM till 9 PM. The restaurants have extreme inconsistencies and management is aware but working on it. We had paid for the Butler service expecting help with reservations and accommodations, but even our Butler admitted his hands were tied by management. He was kind and apologetic, but explained that the resort receives constant complaints like ours and there was nothing he could do to resolve them. To make matters worse, after leaving the property we were promised a refund. Expedia confirmed the hotel had agreed to release our funds for the unused nights, but the hotel instead held onto our money. They even made false claims to AMEX—that a manager offered us alternative accommodations (never happened) and that we spoke to a manager (we did not; they refused to speak with us). In reality, we only dealt with a front desk lead agent. Between the false advertising, terrible conditions, lack of promised amenities, and the shady financial practices, this trip was a $15000 nightmare. Save yourself the stress, disappointment, and loss of money—DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Sep 29, 2025Swim up bar (My experience with Elias)
I stayed at this resort for 9 days in August. I had a phenomenal experience with one of employees at the swim up bar on the Royalton side of the pool named Elias. He was extremely attentive, always smiling and going above and beyond for the guess. He would constantly check in to make sure we were well taken care of and nothing was needed. He even went (without requesting) to get new clean towels. He definitely made my stay feel extra special.

A good place to relax with your couple or family.
The experience was good for my wife and me (3rd wedding anniversary), only the TV services was not comfortable, because we can't use Netflix or another app. However, the food was the best (only juices were not good, only hace artificial juices all the time, they said "we have natural juices at breakfast" but the reality is a jar with water and a little flavor of fruit. The aquatic park was the best, we enjoy it at all. The activities were good too.

Amazing resort and entertainment team
Royalton splash Punta Cana was amazing, from friendly staff to professional servers. Rooms needs a little improvement. Location was close to the airport. The best two parts of Royalton was our butler Amarlys she was so professional and accommodating and always started your morning with all “ good morning and I’m here if you need anything”. Secondly the entertainment team was amazing very friendly and knows how to put on a great show especially “ Mr. Chocolate “ Would totally recommend this resort for family vacation and absolutely will be coming back
