Amazing hotel. We have come 3 years in a row and every single time we have a great trip. Food is really good and diverse, rooms are nice and comfortable, staff is friendly, pools are clean so is the beach, and activities are fun. Definitely recommend this hotel for family vacation.

This is not a bad resort, but not what I would consider a 4 star resort. We have stayed at many other all-inclusive resorts, most of them in the 4 star range, and this would be at the bottom of the list of resorts that we have visited. The pool was not open for the first 2 days during our stay due to algae in the pool. When it did open, the water wasn't really clear, but it was acceptable. We had to visit the front desk on a daily basis, sometimes twice a day, to get our room keycard recoded. The cards were never near our phones, or other credit cards, and not once did they apologize for the inconvienence. The rooms are outdated. Not dirty, but it appears that they haven't been updated in probably 15-20 years. We had no control over the temperature of the shower. It would go from steaming hot to cool without adjusting the faucet. On the plus side, it is a small resort that is easy to navigate, and the staff was very friendly. I know it sounds like we're snobby, but we're really not that picky. I just thought that a 4 star resort would be a little nicer. We did have a good time altogether.

This resort will never let you down, great staff...authentic Mexican hospitatity!!!
So many wonderful excellent staff. Salvador in the Hacienda, is helpful at all times, with a fresh pot of coffee and a smie.Even if it isnt in the area where he is horking he will go out of his way to assist you with any of your needs. Also in the Hacienda is Genaro, has been at the Samba for all the 15+ years I have been going and is stead, strong and very personable. Bere in Activities, always makes sure you are engaged in the activities around the pool and evening shows, she is fabulous. Pinky will make sure that you are well hydrated at all times at the pool or beach, he is stellar....Staff are 100%+.....If you are looking for a large resort, with lots of parties, this is not for you..If you are looking for a clean, well run resort with amazing staff and good food then this resort is for you...a hidden Jem in Mexico

Trip Advisor I arrived June 19, 2025 in the afternoon. I was delighted as we pulled up to the resort. It was the resort on the website! Everything was exactly the same! I am thrilled to be here! The lady at checkout was so gracious. She spoke English very well yet let me practice my poor Spanish. Gualoupe took my luggage to my room and showed me the lights and balcony. Such a lovely man. He even held my arm going up the ramp outside as I am a bit mobility challenged. My first night at the buffet restaurant was great. Hot, delicious good, the apple strudel dessert was so good. Oniver was the best. He kept me watered and again let me practice my Spanish. As I watched the service around me I was impressed by the time the service staff took to talk to the guests. So very efficient and friendly. Now my room! Winner! Spacious, great AC! Housekeeping has been great. My room was cleaned well when I left. No one bothered me as I slept until noon as I had very little sleep on my travel day. Yesterday I enjoyed a day sitting in the snack bar where Carlos took great care of me. The margaritas were delicious as was the new drink I tried called the Vampire! Dinner was at the buffet again. Lovely selection and something for everyone. Oniver was there to assist me again. Maurio was also on hand when I needed more water! The hostess was still friendly and provided me a chair with no arms. This allowed me more comfort while enjoying my meal and people watching.
