  Very disappointed

  I was throughly disappointed. Let me explain one area at a time. 1) the room, though “fully renovated”, it was redone on the cheap; inexpensive vynil floor, Formica-like furniture and very soft mattress on a platform. In the walls, the shower, the A/C intake, you can easily see the true, tired state of the place 2) the common areas are very dirty; we were looking forward to breakfast outside, looking at the ocean, only to see it through a bird-poop-coated glass enclosure. 3) Food: the buffet breakfast has tons of choices, but the quality is mediocre at best. Even the fresh-made omelettes were overcooked. 4) the pool: we had these wristbands to use the pool, but only a handful of people had them; the place was very crowded and had the feel and ambiance of a loud public pool. 5) and the worse, very unfriendly (down right mean) front office staff. La Concha down the street seems like a much, much better option for Bonvoy members. On the positive side, it has convenient, fairly-priced self parking, lots of restaurant options within walking distance, and delicious Anita’s gelato one block away.

  Exceptional service & GORGEOUS resort

  Our experience at the resort was made even more memorable thanks to the exceptional help we received from the concierge, Ninoshka. A member of our group lost his wallet and ID during an off-site excursion the night before our flight home, and the situation quickly became stressful and overwhelming. Although we had booked the excursion through an external company not affiliated with the resort, Ninoshka went above and beyond to assist us. She showed genuine empathy and understanding, immediately taking action to help. She even reached out to a personal connection who worked near the ferry where the wallet was lost in hopes of helping us track it down. When that wasn’t possible, she contacted the local police on our behalf, gave us clear directions to the station, and ensured we had everything we needed to file a proper report so our friend could still board the flight home to Boston with his digital photo of his ID and the report combined. Her calm and compassionate presence brought us a sense of relief when we needed it most. It’s rare to encounter someone so professional, kind, and resourceful in a moment of chaos. As a side note—her appearance was incredibly polished, and her eye makeup? Absolutely flawless! Thank you again, Ninoshka—you truly made a difference! —Sean Marie & group

  Never disappoints

  We always love a quick recharge stay here. The minute you check in you sense the happiness of the staff, which I felt throughout the 3 nights. Rooms and grounds are clean, staff are warm and welcoming and the views of the ocean are stunning. Great location to relax and enjoy the beach /pool by day and shower and head out front for endless choices of restaurant choices

  Deserves Zero Stars

  Rude lobby staff. I’ve never encountered such bad customer service in my life at a hotel. This was my first and last ever stepping foot in this place. Place needs new management all of the woman at the front desk had terrible attitudes. Check-in is at 4 PM and don’t ask if there’s any rooms ready earlier than that because you’ll be faced with the wrath of the attitude from these poorly trained customer service representatives. Once get into our room after the waiting all day it smelled like mildew and mold. I wanted to switch rooms, but I did not want to deal with the attitudes. There is some kind of construction going on that they does not disclose when we booked. As much as we enjoyed the beach and the weather, you can do that at any hotel. Don’t waste your money. This is far from any luxury experience. Trust me, the staff will ruin your experience there.

  Great way to Spend Easter

  This was our first time visiting, and it was a wonderful experience for me and my family. As soon as you step into the lobby, you're greeted by a fresh, clean scent. The staff is welcoming, and check-in was quick and seamless. The resort is very kid-friendly, which was perfect for our 9-year-old, who made lots of new friends during our stay. We loved the location -- just minutes from the airport and within walking distance to many great restaurants. There are two pools, both spacious enough that even when they're full, it never feels crowded. The waterslide was a hit -- even I conquered my fear of heights and felt like a carefree 10-year-old again! Special shoutout to Christian and Jeanette, the amazing bartenders at the pool bar -- they were friendly, attentive, and always remembered our drinks. The beach, just steps away from the pool area, was beautiful and well-maintained. We stayed for five days, and I'm already looking forward to coming back!
