May 12, 2025Secrets the vine is a combination of relaxation and a bit of night life with high quality service and exceptional food.
The service from Jorge at the blue water grill was superb. Jorge has attention to detail and is very professional, he made us feel at home and the steaks were amazing. The dinner was romantic and classy at the same time. The steaks came out perfect and the beers were ice cold. I’ve been coming here for 2 years in a row because of Jorge. If you go to the blue water grill ask for Jorge, he’s the best!

The rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. Room service comes in a timely manner. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels are replenished. Pool side has dead quiet moments. Staff is great and tries to entertain guests. The preferred pool should be offered as the quiet pool. The common pool area should provide more upbeat music at times. Restaurants should provide more authentic mexican food options. Night club with DJ should start at 10pm. Wings should be an option on the late night menu. A smoking area should be provided on the grounds. The chef’s table is a must do at this resort. Best food experience hands down. Enjoyed great food prepared by Chef Isidro and Javan. Best entertainer was Aisha!!

The staff was very inconsistent, some of the waiters were very rude, the beverage orders were always incorrect, the room service was very inconsistent, and the room service timing was horrible. The whole experience was dissatisfying and also we got conned into a timeshare presentation for no benefits. we were there on our honeymoon and would not recommend staying at this hotel specifically, or any secrets hotels as they will try to con you into buying a package through the Hyatt collection. They say that it’s a 90 minute presentation, but you end up there for 3 to 4 hours and they push you as hard as they can. We wasted half a day on this presentation and got no additional benefits. be weary of booking here. Please look elsewhere for a memorable and enjoyable honeymoon or trip!

Great experience
No reservations required at restaurant - no wait time. Only stayed for one day but the service was excellent - all staff members were professional and friendly. Italian restaurant was yummy. The biggest drawback was that you could hear nightly entertainment from the 17th floor room, so be aware of that being a possible issue - but it was only 8 PM, so perhaps that is too be expected. It did not affect my sleep or overall enjoyment of hotel.

Secrets The Vine - absolutely amazing!!
We have been to this resort numerous times and it is always amazing!! The staff are outstanding! The food is delicious! The ocean view is amazing! The only complaint we have is that the bath towels are rough. If that is our only complaint, life is perfect!
