  A Most Exemplary Resort

  I recently spent 5 nights at Serenity at Coconut Bay. This is my first time writing a review on TripAdvisor because this is the first time I’ve received such exceptional service at a resort, from the moment of arriving to the moment of departure. So I felt compelled to write a review. Let’s start with the resort. It is intimate, serene and beautifully designed and maintained. The grounds are stunning and the facilities are kept in exceptional condition. I stayed in a Premium Butler Suite which was simply stunning. The plunge pool, the super large four poster bed and stone clad bathroom were immaculate. I particularly enjoyed the nightly turn-down service. The staff at Serenity strike the perfect balance of warmth, friendliness and professionalism. I want to mention Ali, McGregor and Patrice in particular for their fantastic service, there was nothing that was too much trouble for them. Before arrival I was concerned about there only being one restaurant at the resort but my fears were soon laid to rest. The menus are varied with plenty of choices. As a retired chef I greatly appreciated that each dish was prepared to order, the ingredients were always fresh and prepared to the highest standard. The food was truly excellent. In all I have only good things to say about Serenity and I am already planning to return next year. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at Serenity. Oh and one more thing, as a solo traveler there have been times when I have been overlooked by staff because of being solo. But that was not the case at Serenity. I was made to feel very welcome and every bit as important as all the other guests. I will definitely return.

  Best Trip I’ve Been On

  Me and my wife went to serenity for a week long honeymoon and it’s hard to imagine a trip being better. From the food, to the service, to the excursions, and even the room. Everything was amazing. We had one (minor) hiccup with our room that had more to do with another guest than it had to do with the resort, and Serenity was extremely accommodating to make it right, even though it wasn’t exactly their fault. The rooms are extremely private. And the plunge pool is a nice getaway from the main pool when you want a more secluded type of day. The food is exceptional. We didn’t have a single bad meal there. We mostly ate at the Greathouse, but also took full advantage of room service, and even wandered over to the main resort to try Silk. We were full for the entire trip. You don’t go hungry at Serenity. The excursions were fantastic. We did the couples escapade and the sunset catamaran cruise. We started with the escapade and did the mud baths, and went under the waterfall, and thought we were seeing the beauty of the island. (We were.) Then we did the catamaran cruise and that’s when you truly start to understand the scope and beauty of Saint Lucia. We also added on two massages to our stay. One in suite and one hot stone massage in the spa. Both are also highly recommended. Finally, the staff. This was my favorite part. They get pointed out in every review on here and there’s a reason. They make you feel like you’re a friend that they haven’t seen in a long time from the day you get there. Kert, our butler was great. Kevin, Ray, Toya, and Charles behind the bar. Joela and Jemma in the greathouse. And Shirley in housekeeping. It struck me in previous reviews that people remembered names. There’s a reason. They remember your name and treat you like family. Now we have to figure out our return trip.

  Serenity A Peace of Heaven

  What a wonderful resort! The staff was amazing and paid attention to every little detail. There were so many that made our anniversary trip so special. Kaisha our Butler, Jonathan the coconut man :), Sabby, Toya, Gisel, Kevin, McCarthy, Ray, and so many others. Please forgive me for leaving someone out. Everyone we came in contact with were extroidinary. The cleaning people for our room came several times a day and left the lovliest hand written notes each time. We've stayed at quite a few top notch resorts, and I have to say that this one is the best. The food was wonderful at the Great House. I would say the best that we've had at any resort. Laundry service was included, which we've never had before. We had the romance package which included a customer's escapade where we visited the volcano and mud bath, waterfalls, and botancial gardens. Our private driver and tour guide Danny Boy was great. It was also a plus that the resort is only like 10 minutes from the airport. We will never forget the wonderful people we met. As they told us when we were leaving, don't say goodbye say see you soon!

  Great place Great people

  My husband and I came here for six days five nights in August. Serenity itself is stunning. Butler service (McGregor was amazing!), pristine grounds, fantastic food, entertainment on and off property. We enjoyed every minute. McGregor arranged for us to hike Gros Piton and it was an unforgettable challenge. Kevin was our knowledgeable guide and the challenge was totally worth it. The sunset cruise was superb with beautiful views and drinks. Breakfast in our room every morning was lovely. My husband’s highlight everyday was going over to the Jerk Shack at Coconut Bay and getting his fill of jerk chicken and fish made by Harley and Sharnil. Perfection. Don’t pass it up, they are open 12-5 everyday and their jerk is second to none. Kevin at Serenity made everyday fun around the pool and made wine tastings and dinner romantic and engaging. This is a great spot for couples wanting to get away from the noise, reconnect, and explore or just relax. Highly recommend!
