Just as Advertised with Top Notch Service.
What can I say? We had a fantastic trip here. I was concerned about the location being so close to airport, but it wasn't a problem. We heard, but didn't see, two planes take off a day in the late afternoon, and saw a helicopter or two fly over, but there was nothing intrusive about them. And having a 2-minute ride from the airport to the resort is a good thing. The rooms as exactly as pictured. Neat and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the resort was quiet at night. The AC was frosty cold if you want it that way. We loved having our own sanctuary and pool when we wanted, and it is only a short walk along lovely foliage lined paths to the restaurant and main pool. There are regular activities and live music there if you want it, and quiet seclusion if you don't. There were a number of honeymooning couples when we were there, and they appeared to be happy with their choice. This isn't a hard partying place. If you want more bar action or more restaurant choices, you have access to the Coconut Bay facilities which are only a short walk or golf cart ride away. We chose to eat at the Greathouse at Serenity for our stay because the food was really excellent and the service was awesome. There are lots of very high-quality resorts on St. Lucia, and we have been to several of them - but the service at Serenity was special. I don't know who trained the staff, but they did everything they could to give us top notch service and were always asking if we were enjoying our stay or if we needed anything. It was like being on the Club Level at a Ritz Carlton. There is no "Island Time" here. Everyone was hustling to make sure each guest had what they needed. We were very impressed. Room Service Trays showed up with HOT food, which is hard to pull off at any hotel. A big shout out to our Butler - Neri, who was on top of everything and was delivering things almost before we asked for them. She was easy to get in touch with. We were definitely in the quiet seclusion seeking group, so we didn't ask her to book any tours or adventures, but she was more than willing to do whatever we needed. She made our trip extraordinary, and we will definitely be back. We didn't want to leave. Yes, it is all inclusive, but please remember to tip these folks when you come. They won't ask, but it will be appreciated by these hard-working people.

Annual Anniversary trip
We took our annual anniversary trip to Serenity and it was everything that they claim to be: calm, relaxing, privacy. The staff were all very nice and courteous A big shout out to Kevin, Ray, Toya and Kimberly (our butler). Look for them because they will take good care of you.

Amazing Honeymoon
We had the most amazing honeymoon at Serenity. We specifically loved the 24-hour room service, laundry service, beautiful grounds, activities available, and level of service provided by all employees. Special shout out to our butler Quade, who organized a special lunch for us knowing we wanted to try Oxtail while we were on the island. He also made sure to organize all of our activities and dinners. Another special shoutout to Delon and Ray, our favorite bartenders. The pool suites were private and luxurious and had everything we needed and more.

Book the trip!
We can’t say enough positive things about Serenity at Coconut Bay. Whether you book directly through them, or through AMEX or Costco, the process is very seamless and straightforward. Our trip package included round trip business/first class flights and an airport transfer, as well as the Grand Romance package, which includes pretty much everything you could imagine. The food and drinks were free flowing 24/7 at the help of your butler. The pool, both en suite and the main one on the property, are amazing. We enjoyed the pool and beach cabanas, with the beach being an easy 2 min golf cart ride away. It is on the Atlantic side, so the water is not crystal clear and there is Sargassum, but the grounds crew is consistently working to clear it with little disruption to your beach enjoyment. No ask is too big here, the chef even met us outside one night and insisted that any special request could be accommodated and that he would go into town to find what we needed/wanted. While we didn’t take him up on the offer, because we felt we had more than enough options, we know the offer was sincere. For those like me who get sick from either food or water every time you travel, that is of no concern. Almost 11 days in the island and everything is as fresh as you can imagine. They are very transparent about their food and produce procurement. Your itinerary is provided for you upon check in, and they are happy to make any changes if you want to do/more less. We added an additional massage and snorkel excursion with one phone call. The snorkel excursion does take you to the carribean side near sugar beach, so it is a great add if that is something you feel is important to you. I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge that this trip would not have been even half of what it was without the staff at serenity. We had the well loved butler McCarthy who was just as phenomenal as you’d expect. We were so lucky to be taken care of by housekeeping staff Trisha and Vaniah, who left the cutest towel animals in our room twice a day. The list is long, but the care of people like Sabby, Charles, Ray, Kevin, Ginel, Hannah, Daniel, Deleon, Tyron, and Toya, made us feel like friends by the end of our stay and always took the effort to say hello whenever they saw us. We are so sad to be leaving, but will definitely be recommending Serenity and hopefully coming back ourselves one day. The reviews speak for themselves.
