Great Mother/Daughter Vacation
We had a wonderful time at the Alexandra, celebrating my daughter's birthday and Mother's Day. They had a nice birthday platter with treats and wine waiting for her. The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Miliane who provided a wonderful and warm way to start our day as we had breakfast at Asu Buffet. The lady who cooked at Irie Bites-thank you - wonderful local food. The entertainment team was fun, inviting people to participate but not being pushy. The Mother's Day show was lovely and moving. We had some problem with air conditioning which they quickly sent several people to check and when it could not be fixed - upgraded us to another room. Our original room- deluxe ocean view studio was so spacious, beautiful and updated. The 2nd floor one bedroom ocean view suite was beautiful with a huge terrace facing the ocean and allowed us to view the breathtaking sunsets and hear the music from the nightly show when we did not make it. The food at Black Rock Grill and Fish Deck very good, with wonderful sunset views, be sure to make reservations for that time. The beach is amazing !!! Beautiful water and white sand, with you being able to snorkel easily. No problem getting chairs on the beach. You can walk 20 min down the beach (after Beaches and by Winsong) and hit the Coral Reef . There is an amazing snorkeling opportunity. We saw more than when we went on 1/2 day snorkeling trip. This trip was a lovely boat ride with snorkeling and stop at Iguana Island. Only went to Blue Haven once, was nice to have the option to visit another resort. Shuttle service provided. Sadly was not able to book dinner there many have reported that Fire and Ice is great. We did walk to the Thursday Fish Fry, with our enjoying the local food and souvenirs available. The music and the band was so much fun! The band comes later so make sure to stay for that. The resort is smaller than others we have stayed at but we really enjoyed that. I can't wait to return and thank the team at the Alexandra for an unforgettable time!

Wouldn’t Recommend
Not a vacation resort that I would recommend! On average eighty percent of the staff were unfriendly and didn’t seem to want to help. We had problems with transportation to and from airport. There weren’t enough restaurants for the number of people at the resort. It was not what we expected or worth the cost of the trip. Just wouldn’t recommend it.

Couple review 2025
My wife and I celebrated our 10 yea anniversary. We had a lot of fun! First let me shout out to these individuals who made it it enjoyable- Derrika, Razoor, Cheeky, Tash, Andrea and Keisha (behind the bar). These folks are hard workers and their smiles, upbeat attitudes are the reason why it was worth the stay here. We stayed in an Oceanfront Suite and it was very clean, tidy and has an amazing view. The food in my opinion was a hit or miss. Irie Bites was so good and Silvie working behind the grill is a doll! We dined at restaurants here and the sister property Blue Haven. We really only liked Fish Deck while the other places either had food that needed some seasoning or the portions a bit small. We actually really enjoyed eating at Mr Groupers which is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the resort. We wish the resort would have more of a Carribean feel to it. By this I mean Island music such as reggae or soca being heard instead of music from US. We also wish there was more of a daily Turks and Caicos food option such as conch or curry to enjoy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the atmosphere was calm and soothing. We'll really consider coming back with our families for next time.

Everything was wonderful. The only thing I wish there was more if was soca music and more caribbean food! But we had a
The staff was amazing and some of the best people I've met! Derika Andrea RH Chicken Keisha Darlene Sylvie! The beach was beautiful and drinks were perfect! The silent party was my favorite and Sylvie had the best food at Irie bites! Next time we will bring the kids!

TLDR come for the beach, stay for the experience
My boyfriend and I had the best time during our 6 day stay at the Alexandra Resort in May 2025. Before choosing the Alexandra, I read nearly every review I could find so I hope to provide some information for others considering staying here. We chose the Alexandra due to its beautiful beach, more quiet and relaxed vibe, and the all inclusive experience. As two adults in their twenties without children, the Alexandra allowed us to both relax by ourselves and socialize/participate in scheduled activities put on by the resort. Beach: - As many others have mentioned, guests will put towels on chairs at night to claim them for the morning. This was not a problem for my boyfriend and I because we preferred to sit further away from the beach bar where it was more quiet and we could spread out and relax. From where we usually sat, it almost felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. - We walked up and down the beach and we both felt like the beach at the Alexandra was the best. No other resort had wooden chairs and it made it feel more upscale. Food: - A major factor we considered when choosing the Alexandra was food. We wanted the ease of an all inclusive but did not want the traditional all inclusive buffet. For the most part, we enjoyed the food immensely here. - Before arriving I knew we needed to make reservations to eat at the popular dinner restaurants like Black Rock, Fish Deck, Dragon Orchid, and Fire and Ice. When we checked in they gave us the QR codes to scan and make the reservations and it was very easy. You have to call a number to reserve a table at Fire and Ice at Blue Haven. We were able to eat at every restaurant. - We absolutely LOVED the jerk chicken made by Sylvie at Irie Bites by the beach. We ate this every day. Sylvie was always kind, cheerful, and the food was our favorite. The chicken can be spicy if you are sensitive to spice at all. - We also loved the smoothie bar. Mary was always so kind to us and I enjoyed my coffee made by Jimmy. - We ate at Fire and Ice at Blue Haven and it was our favorite dinner. It felt more upscale than the restaurants at Alexandra. The drinks we had there were also better in our opinion. - The steaks at Black Rock were very good. - We ate at Fish Deck twice. We really enjoyed eating outside and watching the sunset. - We also enjoyed the sushi restaurant Dragon Orchid. Our server there was great and the food was delicious! - The truck stop restaurant was okay. The ceviche was mostly lettuce and the skewers were pretty good. Staff and resort: - We stayed in a renovated deluxe garden 1 bed room on the first floor. I will say the photos online made the room look bigger than it is. However, the room was very nice. The high ceilings made it feel bigger. The room was always stocked with water and soda/beer by the time we came back to get ready for dinner. We really appreciated the housekeeping’s work! More on the room below. - For the most part, my boyfriend and I were extremely impressed by how kind and friendly everyone at the Alexandra was. On one of our last days at the resort my boyfriend and I were sitting outside and Kimron came up to us to see how we were doing and he even remembered our names from when we participated in karaoke on our first night (this was the only activity we did so we were extremely impressed he remembered our names—this just goes to show that the smaller size of the Alexandra allows for a more personable experience.) - We really enjoyed the concert put on by Tash one night. She has an amazing voice and you can tell she puts in a lot of effort and is really good at her job! - We went on the hobiecat catamaran sailboat and Coby from the water sports team took us out on it. We had an absolute blast! He is very kind and friendly. You could tell he really loves the ocean and sailing. That kind of enthusiasm is infectious. This was definitely a highlight of our trip. - We also did a morning photo session with the resort photographer Natalee. We are so grateful we chose to do this because it can be so hard to get photos with just two people. Natalee helped pose us and the photos turned out beautiful! One thing of note is that you will probably have to wear sunglasses if you wanted to take photos during the day! I did not think about that so I spent time putting on makeup only for it not to matter (just trying to help any of my girls out there). Possible areas of improvement and general comments: - The service was mostly good. However, almost always we could not get refills on water at restaurants. Many times we were so hot and needed water and it felt like we were being ignored. In America, I guess we are used to a good restaurant almost always consistently filling your water glass when it gets low. - In our opinion, the bed in our room was very uncomfortable and the pillows were not great either. - On the first floor, the hotel room door was slightly crooked allowing bugs to get into the room. I could foresee this being a problem for someone afraid of bugs. - Some of the beach chair cushions were pretty rundown and had almost no cushion left from repeated use and could probably use replacing. - We were pretty confused about expectations on tipping. Some increased guidance on this would help prevent confusion and ensure staff is being compensated appropriately. - After checking out, the front desk called a taxi for us to take us to the airport. They called a private luxury taxi (we look a shared taxi from the airport which was $28 total for two people). We did not know the taxi would be private/luxury and had assumed it would be $28 total shared taxi to get back to the airport. We were wrong. The private taxi was $56 for two people. Just something to be aware of—make sure you have enough cash! (Side note- the taxi was PAIG luxury transportation and our driver Elliot was amazing! He is from Providenciales and was amazing to talk to and even gave us recommendations for our next trip back to Turks and Caicos. If you need a taxi on the island definitely look him up!!) TLDR; the Alexandra is a great resort for families and individuals of all ages. You can really make your experience your own. Areas of improvement include better mattresses and chair cushions and increased guidance on tipping. Ideally it would be great to have more water/drink refilling at property restaurants. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay here and we think you will too!
