  I would not come back, not for everyone.

  We came here for our honeymoon. We stayed at Baja point but spent most of our time at the Westin. There is a lot of walking and using multiple elevators for getting from point A-B (so if you have mobility issues, you may have some difficulty). We were disappointed to find a very bland atmosphere here. The outside swim up bar would not turn up the music, even after multiple different guests asked. They did karaoke 1 night, advertised from 6:30-8:30, didn’t start till 7, also had a 5 min break, wouldn’t turn up the music because “it might bother the restaurant patrons”. Multiple occasions our bill was wrong, getting someone else’s bill, or having additional items added to our. We were charged for 4 margaritas that we never ordered. They took those off after we had to explain it was wrong. Then after paying one of the bartender came out to us as we were leaving to tell us “we didn’t leave a big enough tip”. We were told this is a cashless resort and we’re being expected to leave at least a 20% tip on our credit card. (I am from California, we know how to tip). The food was edible but after the first two days we decided all meals would be had in town, so that we can at least get good food. Drinks cost around $18 for a cocktail, and food is around $15-$25 per entree. We were not allowed to walk the beach, every time we tried a staff member told us we had to go back, eventually after talking to someone at the front they had us sign a waiver not to sue if I die lol. (I didn’t mind signing because the ocean is very dangerous in this area and I’m sure if you aren’t familiar with this type of beach, there is a huge risk). Our bathroom smelled like sewage but we didn’t complain because we know the plumbing in Mexico is not great. We had mold on our ceiling, AC worked enough to bring the temp to 74 degrees at the lowest, debris blew in from the gap under the door. The bathroom window didn’t shut all the way. Because we are “owners” we didn’t qualify for any room services like towel refreshments, trash or any cleaning. The rooms do not have a broom for us to clean it ourselves. So we either deal with the dirty floor or they charge a fee for each cleaning service. Overall the staff were nice, and the vibe was very quiet. I would not stay here again. Personally when I go to Mexico I want to be in the culture, the music, the food. This resort does not offer that. Maybe that’s what some people want. So if you are wanting to stay in a pool at the resort, lay on a chair and have some quiet time, then this is the place for you. If you enjoy meeting people, listening to music at the swim up bar, enjoying some night life past 5pm, and love to adventure on the beach, I do not recommend this resort.

  Worth It!

  Beautiful property with picturesque setting! You cannot swim at the beach there so prepare to go to a "swimable" beach. Activities for all ages. The food is absolutely wonderful! The staff is friendly and helpful! We stayed in a beautiful, newly renovated room! I definitely recommend this location for relaxing.

  The Best Service in Cabo

  The Resort is amazing, but the staff is even better! Angel is a steward of the Westin brand. Uriel takes great care of us too! Perla is very caring with the kiddos. David makes things happen! Sebastian is quite the character; full of energy and he’ll do everything he can to make you feel special. Mariana holds down the fort at the pool, also making sure everyone feels special and has a great time. We used to go to the San Jose area and prefer the hospitality here more! Pardon me for not getting their names but the kids club ladies were very thoughtful as well!

  Our Stay at The Westin Los Cabos: A Peaceful Escape by the Sea.

  Westin Los Cabos Resort Spa is located 22.5 San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. Since I am not the one who booked it, it was my partner, hence, I don't know the cost of the 2-bedroom villa. One of the things I really appreciate about staying at The Westin Los Cabos is the friendly and welcoming staff. From the moment my partner and I arrived, everyone we encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely pleasant. For me, that makes such a difference when I'm on vacation. It's wonderful to be somewhere where the people around you make you feel comfortable and welcomed from the very beginning. Of course, the resort itself is beautiful, but one of my favorite things about it is its location right along the Sea of Cortez. The ocean views are absolutely gorgeous. I love being able to sit outside, look at the water, and simply enjoy the moment. There's something very calming about listening to the waves and watching the beautiful blue sea stretching out in front of you. What I also really enjoy about The Westin Los Cabos is the peaceful atmosphere. There are beautiful pools, comfortable places to sit, and plenty of little corners where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Honestly, it's the kind of resort where I can spend hours doing absolutely nothing—and still feel like I'm having a wonderful vacation! 😊 Sometimes that's exactly what I want when I'm traveling: no schedule, no rushing, just sitting somewhere beautiful and enjoying the surroundings. Our villa has also been a big plus. It's spacious and comfortable, and I really appreciate having more room than I would typically get in a standard hotel room, especially when staying for several days. The extra space makes it feel much more like a home away from home. My only small criticism is that the kitchen counter is quite small, but that's a minor issue compared with everything else we enjoy about the villa. Our villa room was located in 8th floor facing the ocean, it has two bedrooms, one ensuite and king size bed, with another common bathroom, and two balconies, from the living room and from master bedroom. There is also plenty to do around the resort if you want to stay active. There are restaurants and bars on the property, along with a spa, fitness center, tennis, pickleball, and other activities. I like having all these choices available, but what I appreciate most is that I never feel pressured to participate in everything. If I want to play pickleball or explore, I can. But if I simply want to sit by the pool and stare at the ocean for a few hours, I can do that too! Another thing I find convenient is the location. The resort sits between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, making it easy for us to explore both areas. After a day of sightseeing and activities, it feels especially nice to return to the resort and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Overall, I'm really enjoying our stay at The Westin Los Cabos. For me, it's the combination of the **beautiful Sea of Cortez views, peaceful atmosphere, comfortable villas, convenient location, and especially the wonderful staff** that makes this resort special. Sometimes a great vacation isn't about constantly doing something. Sometimes it's about finding a beautiful place, slowing down, and simply enjoying where you are. And that's exactly how I feel here

  12 reasons NOT TO BOOK!!!!!!

  1. VERY LOW BUDGET. 3 stars at best!!!!!! 2. In a 2 room unit. One room has no windows. 3. Most pools closed. 4. The property itself is a bit of a mess. LLOYS OF CONSTRUCTION ALL DAY. This was NOT communicated prior to arrival. 5. Only one restaurant open when we arrived. It was just ok. 6. The lobby itself needs a major upgrade. 7. There is no smoking anywhere on the property, so my husband can’t smoke his cigars ( anywhere) he just purchased in town. 8. Very expensive food. A bowl of yoghurt was $15. 9. Check out is at 10am. 10. While sitting on the beach for my early morning meditation, someone came up to me saying the beach is closed. I wasn’t in the water. I was sitting on the sand. I refused to leave. If you’re going to close the beach, then you need to close the hotel. I didn’t fly all the way to beach, not to enjoy the beach. 11. If the management wanted to do better, the would. I see all the reviews of them addressing people who’ve shared poor experiences. Most of them are easily fixable. They just choose not to. Like communicating about all day construction and pool closures. 12. Did I mention it’s 3 stars at best!!!!!!!
