    A resort without a Pool....really?

    So the resort is in a pretty spot, rooms are fine, reservation area and deli nice. but the pool is out of service and apparently has been for a long time. It looks awful, you have to walk by it, before you get to the beach. Beach is lovely, but how can you continue to advertise a pool, This is on their web site: Resort Pool Come to the spectacular quarter-acre pool to relax and cool off from the warm Caribbean sunshine. Beautifully landscaped with islands of palm trees and overlooking the turquoise water of Great Cruz Bay, here you’ll discover what paradise is all about. With a soothing whirlpool spa and Snorkels Bar & Grill just steps away, you may never want to leave. Mis-represented and false advertising. very sad.

    Relaxing and great experience

    We stayed in building 26, which I learned was recently remodeled. The 2 bedroom villa was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The resort grounds are well maintained. We didn’t mind the 10 minute hilly walk to the main lobby, versus waiting on a shuttle. The construction of the pool limits onsite restaurants, in addition to the pool. The Lemongrass Restaurant was typical for a resort restaurant, the Mango deli, which is the only option for breakfast for Monday - Wednesday is limited and below average quality. We rented a jeep to enjoy the nearby beautiful beaches and local restaurants. We tried 2 excursions booked through the hotel: Nighttime Kayak and the Sunset Cruise. The kayaking was very fun. The Sunset Cruise has no entertainment and no food. It’s a boat taking you on the water then back, with an open bar.

    Peaceful and Healing

    A very peaceful trip at the Westin so accommodating the staff there was so welcoming gave beautiful recommendations to search around that not only the local island for the history as well as the locals gave very great information about the neighboring island as well as some great history and information about the locals and the people I personally had a great experience with David, Scott, Jason , christiano and the lovely front desk ladies and the women around the resort they all were very lovely and accommodating, and very supportive throughout the trip. Definitely am planning another trip during their open season in November!

    Happy in Florida

    I do not know where the people stayed who wrote negative reviews, but yes the property could stand remodeling. The staff were as friendly & accommodative as you could ask for. The restaurant - what I ordered- was a 1 star. Others fared much better n their selection. I would recommend this property to others.

    Falling apart run down

    Marriott has done a poor job of maintaining this resort . I have been a Westin Time Share owner for 18 years and can’t believe how run down the resort has become. The balconies and buildings all need painting and proper cleaning. The pool was dirty up on hillside despite the main pool being closed. The staff have a bit of an attitude and they are not very happy. Lemongrass had no air conditioning so it was unbearable to eat the food we ordered. The Latte machine was broken at Starbucks…. Come on do something about it . I am supposed to be back in December but maybe not
