    49th anniversary trip

    The resort was fantastic. We can't enough about the excellent staff, food, drinks and the room. We had an excellent time. I do recommend that you get the platinum room and plan.

    Best Resort!

    Spectacular! The staff are wonderful. We did not meet one person who did not go out of their way to be the best host possible! Absolutely would come back again, the food was great, the cleanliness of the resort is super, all staff were so helpful. Great place!! Thanks so much!

    Poor customer service

    I will preface this by saying the reason for the 1 star is due to poor treatment from management regarding a complaint I had. Full disclosure: I am staying here currently and so the incident is still fresh and I haven't quite calmed down. I don't like to write these things to put hotel "on blast" but just want to make people aware. The grounds are beautiful, food is great, staff is wonderful, entertainment is good. My issue arose with the noise at night from the Disco/Bar in the lobby of Ventus. It runs from 11-1am. It is so loud that I could hear the words of the songs in my room while trying to sleep. Upon arrival I paid 470usd to upgrade my family to a swim out suite which my kids LOVED!!! But it is near the lobby and last night around midnight, the music kept us all awake. This morning I talked to the manager about compensation for the inconveniences of the noise, but his only offer was to refund my upgrade but move me to a non swim out standard room away from the lobby. This would cause a waste of time as I would have to pack up a room with a family of five, then move and unpack again. Plus my kids lose their swim out. ( BTW, there is a sign on my swim out deck saying no noise after 10 pm to respect other guests. The same does not apply for the resort respecting noise). No understanding for the inconveniences this would be to a family paying good money to visit your resort and, losing any sort of referral to my friends to book here too. I don't like being spiteful, or otherwise. I want people to be aware of the potential noise issues. If it's something that you wouldn't be bothered by, you likely feel I'm overreacting and will have no problems enjoying this otherwise great place! I feel more should have been done to accomodate the issue. For reference, I was in Building 26, room 26004

    Relaxing stay at Ventus at Marina

    We enjoyed a relaxing stay, traveling with our granddaughter, her husband & 10 month old baby. The side by side swim up rooms were comfortable and convenient giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the water & outdoors, even when our great-grandson was sleeping. The facility was beautiful. All the staff were kind, professional and helpful. In particular, our concierge Cristina, butlers Gonzo & Enrique, our housekeeper, Platinum Club, dining, bar and other staff went out of their way to make our stay fabulous. Thank you! It was a pleasure meeting with Fernanda in the vacation club. She shared information that will enhance our next visit! Looking forward to returning next year!

    What a Great Hotel

    We stayed for a week Oct 19th thru to Oct 26th. Everything was top notch from check in to check out. We had a butler his name was Gerson he was great, made all of our dinner reservations and amswer all our questions. He was very helpful. I would also like to give a shout put to Roberto in the Platium area. He explained alot about the hotel and advised us about what activités were going on. Always had a smile and greeted us whenever he saw us. We would definently come back to this resort.
