I’d like to say that as an ambassador elite member it always feels good when you are appreciated. The staff at the W Fort Lauderdale does a great job at making you feel valued from valet to the front desk. Special shout out to Sean who is very kind and professional and works valet during the evening, and special shout out to Shap who always has great energy, is professional, and super nice while working valet during the morning hours. Also, shout out to James upon checking in who was very professional and kind.

Beach and Food Crew Ft Lauderdale
The team on Fort Lauderdale beach in front of the W hotel are amazing. Our first few days Omar, Angel, Akeem, were very courteous and professional and caring in helping us set up and finding the perfect spot. The next few days with Tyrek, Akeil, Jordon Byfield was awesome as well. Courteous, professional, and caring continued and it was a seamless transition. The guys provided us with setting us up to make sure we had everything needed to enjoy our beach time. For young men well mannered, well spoken and engaging is so refreshing. Thanks guys see you in November or December. PS Amanda was amazing and remembered us from 7 months ago. She made sure to ask us what foods or drinks we needed she was very engaging and professional. Thanks for keeping her.

Simply amazing
I was very impressed that my room was ready early since I let them know ahead of time that I would be there at 2 PM, additionally, they gave me a free upgrade Ocean view on the 15th floor and it has spectacular views! Angel was amazing at the beach to remind me that the water bottles are unlimited and free and he set up my beach chair perfectly with the towels tucked in, it truly is a luxury experience! Heads up your credit card will be charged a $500 fee on check in for incidentals but it will be refunded after. The pool area has a fantastic mix of sun and shade, helpful staff, infused water, sun lotion, and cozy chairs with nice music for ambience as well. The Wet West pool deck is a bit more of a relaxed and quiet environment. It’s not as crowded and it also includes a hot tub as well as showers that include soap and shampoo, which is a nice touch. Nikolas sent prosecco to my room to celebrate my new job he didn’t know that I’m sober so I explained it to Maya and she made a different surprise for me and was so kind and accommodating. I had a slice of beautiful chocolate cake and non-alcoholic zero proof Prosecco delivered to my room. This is above and beyond fantastic service! I dined at the Living Room. The 3 for $28 apps deal was great, I chose goat cheese croquettes, glazed pork belly, and the chorizo and manchego. I had the mocktail called The Betty and it was so delicious! All of the appetizers were great as well and I had great service from Nurbu. The views that I experienced upon waking up at seven and seeing the sunrise over the beach from my balcony were second to none, it felt like I was inside a postcard. I attempted to enter the pool area before they officially opened and the staff welcomed me in and set up my towel for me and everything and didn’t even seem bothered. In general everyone here is so pleasant and goes above and beyond and this is going to be my new favorite spot for a staycation. Thank you so much! This is an experience that is one of a kind and beyond exciting and relaxing!

Wil Definitely be back to get a facial at Away Spa Fort Lauderdale!
My Esthetician was Drew and he did an amazing job on my facial and the reflexology I added on. From the moment he met me at the men's locker room to the moment my services were finished I felt taken care of. Will definitely be back!

My wife and I have been traveling to Marriotts for our anniversary for many years, have always had a great time. I mistakenly and accidentally booked a reservation same day instead of the date of my anniversary. I called right away when I made the mistake. The front desk would not adjust my reservation, they said they had a 3 day cancellation clause even though I booked 10 minutes prior by accident. The woman was smiling through her teeth while telling me that she couldn’t help. Couldn’t believe their inability to help. Will not book this hotel again.
