Great Experience
We arrived earlier than the posted check-in time and Jeff was able to get us checked into a room early! He provided a complimentary room upgrade and was very friendly and helpful. He took the time to explain everything to us including what times the restaurants were least busy and greeted my family with a lei. Overall, the room was very clean and the only negative thing I have to say is the bathroom has a frosted glass door with a crack where the door frame is allowing others to see into the bathroom when you are using the bathroom and they are at the sink. Didn't allow for full privacy from the other members of my family. The buffet breakfast at Swan Court each morning was delightful and offered a beautiful view of swans swimming in the pond nearby. Sushi at Japengo fell short of my expectations; however, was decent. The dinner at the Sonz Steakhouse was good but expect a pricey dinner here. We had dinner at Umalu and none of the members in my family were impressed with our meals here, but the service was good. Room cleaning provided fresh towels and made our beds each day. Beach towels are provided with the scan of your room wristband at the towel kiosks too which was great. The fitness center exceeded our expectations! It is fully equipped and has a line of treadmills/elliptical machines facing the ocean. Workout towels are provided in this area as well. Awesome fitness center!

Great family experience and a wonderful resort
The resort was beautiful and exceeded our expectations in every way. Directly on the beautiful Kanaapali beach with gorgeous views and walking distance to Whaler's Village. Great food at the Swan Court breakfast buffet, Umali and especially Japengo's. The pools and other amenities were top notch!

Take the grand kids.
Great for families with kids. Breakfast, pools, slides, swans, penguins on campus and a parade of turtles passing by just off shore.

Horrible place to stay
The Hyatt is a horrible resort to stay out. I do not recommend it whatsoever. They do not care about their people staying there. I’ve asked to speak with somebody in regards to the horrible luau. Nobody got back to me. The lady hung up on me and then also they charged extra fees after I left and I have a receipt of what my fees were supposed to be charged my card and they added all back on things that they took off and told me they weren’t charging us for. Highly do not recommend you staying at the Hyatt

Beautiful location
One of my favorite locations I've ever visited. First off, the Hyatt Regency Maui is such a unique location unlike any other Hyatt I've ever visited. From the beautiful pools, open air lobby, Penguins and exotic birds this location has it all. The rooms are perfect with comfortable beds, great bathroom set up and enough space. The balcony had a screen door to enjoy the ocean breezes, with seating for two to watch the Sunsets. We enjoyed the Tour of the stars, it was extremely informative, learned so much and felt like you could just reach out and touch the Moon, highly recommend! They offer cultural activities everyday and was able to do Hula dancing and Coconut Weaving. If you are looking for a family friendly location you've found it! Can't wait to go back!
