Lovely hotel & great views, but food was a bit of a letdown

I stayed here for 3 nights with my friend at the end of the season and overall we had a really nice stay. The hotel itself is lovely; fresh, modern and clean. Our room was big with super comfy beds and a huge balcony that had an amazing view. Only downside on that front was the public toilets around the hotel – they were quite tired looking and a few of the locks were broken. There was a fine selection of drinks at the bar. There’s a token system during the day where you return your cup to get a new one, which sounded annoying when I read about it before coming, but it actually makes total sense and keeps the place tidy (just don’t lose yours else you have to pay €1 for another one). You don’t need tokens in the evening. The only cocktails on the all-inclusive are frozen ones, but they were actually quite nice and refreshing. The entertainment team worked really hard every night doing what they could with what they had, and we especially loved the Soul Singer on our last night. During the day, there were always plenty of sunbeds available (again, probably because it was the end of the season), but the signs about not reserving beds aren’t really enforced. One morning we sat down at 8:30 and the four beds next to us were already “reserved” and no one showed up till 4pm! Still, there were plenty of beds to choose from, and some were definitely comfier than others. The food was definitely the weak spot for us. At dinner, hardly any of the dishes were labelled and everything looked kind of the same. Lunch and dinner were pretty much identical every day, and as a picky eater I found it tricky. I think because it was end of season they might’ve just been using up what was left, which could explain the repetition. Also, just a heads up - the walls are paper thin. You can hear every toilet flush and conversations in the corridor, so maybe bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. All in all, it was a nice, short and sweet stay, perfect for a few days of sunbathing and having a drink, but I don’t think I’d want to stay for much longer because of the food situation.

    Awful

Awful experience. The room had no tea or coffee facilities, the balcony had no room whatsoever and was facing all the air conditioning units, so loud I had to buy ear plugs to sleep. The patio door came off in my hands had to put back into the rails. When I asked to be moved even prepared to pay extra the Hotel Manager was extremely rude and talked over me constantly. They have no information in relation to food, I’m celiac and have to be careful wherever I’ve stayed before in a resort especially in Greece the people have been amazing and so informative. I would say avoid room 0110 and the manageress Louisa, needs to go on a customer relations course.

    Don’t go here.

Shower went from boiling to freezing wasn’t safe for our child Shower screen wasn’t attached to keep it still again not safe See view room underneath a large generator keeping us up at night Toilet was constantly filling up with water we had to turn it off from the valve Bathroom and hallway smelt of damp and urine We asked to swap rooms they said NO. The food was basic - partner got served raw chicken No plastic plates or plastic cutlery for kids not even cups The outdoor pools were freezing - we booked a hotel that had an indoor pool so our 20 month old could go in that, that was closed The children activities were absolutely horrific there the children play area had 1 small house, 1 slide and 1 football the indoor play area had limited times the inside didn’t resemble anything child friendly Our child woke up Monday 11pm throwing up everywhere at that point we decided to go home. We spoke to reception about having clean towels bedding ect as our child was being sick every where and they said they can’t do anything and at that point we decided to go home as they didn’t help us when our child was being sick. Would NOT recommend, we came home 3 days early. Absolutely horrific

The location was amazing, all staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The food could have been better, was bland and not always warm. Overall was enjoyable and would return

    Difficult experience

Overall not too bad. The hotel has beautiful views over the sea. The only request I made was for a low floor, we were on the 9th floor. The entertainment team were excellent and very friendly. The outside bar staff were also very friendly, helpful and worked very hard. I became very unwell with food poisoning and had to be admitted to hospital in Alcudia, the reception staff on that evening were excellent at getting the doctor and very helpful to my daughters. I have had no contact from the hotel regarding what happened, no apologies or compensation, I note while reading review other people became ill too. We also had an early departure and we asked about breakfast and were advised there was nothing, one of our party is diabetic and needed to eat. Some of the other reception staff were unhelpful when asking about buses to other places. The pool was nice but very cold. Not enough seats in the evening, I don't know how they manage in the summer.
