    Birthday vacation

    We had a great time here at Valentin, great food, and great service. The shows were great a lot of activities. The beach was beautiful! We spent 4 days at beach 2 days at pool. Isabel from the entertainment team had great smile, loved her personality and very energetic. Loved all the waiters and waitresses very nice and respectful. Also the whole entertainment was awseome!

    Forget sitting at the pool

    Yes, it’s beautiful, the service is wonderful, and the food very good. BUT there aren’t enough chairs at the pool. Come down at 8 and they’ve all been saved. Were told we can spend $85 each per day to reserve. Never again. Can’t justify going to a resort when we can’t enjoy the most important part. So disappointed.

    Close to perfection

    We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of a two week adventure travelling around Mexico City and the Yucatan region. Here are our impressions: Check in: Excellent. You are made to feel very welcome and get to have a drink or too during the process. Check out: Just a standard check out process. However, as our taxi to airport was booked for 1pm we were given late room check out of 12pm (standard check out time is 11am). Room: We were given a free upgrade from Deluxe Double to a larger suite by the beach. Overall the suite was amazing, especially having a jacuzzi. Food: Excellent. We loved the buffet at Le Marché for and the French was probably our favourite evening restaurant. Drinks: Varied in strength but overall no complaints. We loved the swim up bars and the Don Miguel bar in the evening. Entertainment: Solid but not amazing. Normally a 45 min show at 9pm followed by house band in Plaza Espana. Pool: We didn’t bother with the quieter pools but main pool was very good with plenty of entertainment during the day. Only negative about the pool is the bed hogs who leave towels on bed early but never seem to use them. Beach: Not great but no big beach people. Overall we had a great stay!

    Paradise

    The grounds were kept so clean, the rooms were very clean, the maids did a fantastic job. All the workers were so nice, and helpful. The pool areas were kept very clean as well. Dora was always asking people if they needed anything, and made sure everything was good.

    Relaxing Getaway with Minor Flaws

    The resort offers a beautiful setting with stunning beaches and great amenities. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the stay enjoyable. However, some areas could use a bit of updating. Overall, a solid choice for a relaxing getaway!
