  An unforgettable honeymoon trip

  My wife and I had an amazing time for our honeymoon there. Our beach bungalow was large and beautiful. The staff were great. Vishnu was especially helpful in arranging a special beach side dinner for us.

  Luxury relaxation at its finest!

  Ambergris Cay is the ultimate luxury relaxation resort. We enjoyed our stay and were impressed with the service, staff, accommodations and food. Clay, our host was attentive, fun, and made sure we always had everything we needed. Bartender Abee was like a friend by the end of our stay. We loved chatting with him and enjoyed his tasty craft cocktails and special iced coffee. Service at every meal was top notch. We loved the boat ride to the floating Tiki bar and were blown away when Keno brought us a conch to take home to our daughter after we mentioned how much she loved sea shells. We often felt like the only people on the island which for us was just what we needed to recharge. There were plenty of activities to stay busy, if we wanted.

  Dreamy Honeymoon!

  From the moment we arrived on out honeymoon, Ambergris Caye felt like our own private slice of paradise. The modern beachfront bungalows were truly steps from the sand—sleek, serene, and thoughtfully designed with tons of seating options just for our home. Inside, the huge TV at the foot of the bed was a cozy touch for winding down after long days of exploring. Waking up to the sound of waves, watching wildlife from our porch (hello turtles, iguanas, and even chickens!), and rinsing off in the outdoor shower after a swim made every moment feel indulgent and connected to nature. The water was shallow a long ways out, which made swimming feel incredibly safe and peaceful. Perfect for floating, wading, or just soaking in the view. The Calico pool was so beautiful and relaxing we loved going in the afternoon. Dining was a highlight. The menu was large and full of classic, delicious options—we found our favorites fast: ceviche, lamb, pizza, French fries. The bartenders were phenomenal (special shoutout to the spicy margaritas and dirty martinis). Activities were perfectly balanced. Bone fishing was a short, fun adventure. The gym was stunning—clean, spacious, and well-equipped—and rooftop yoga looked like something out of a wellness retreat. The island itself was bigger than expected, with plenty to explore: secluded beaches, scenic overlooks, and hidden gems we discovered by golf cart (which was so fun!). The Hangover Experience was a huge highlight —we would have done it twice! Service was next-level. Our butler Clay was a dream—responsive, kind, and always one step ahead. From breakfast deliveries to last-minute plan changes (including an unforgettable sushi dinner at the house), he made everything seamless. He also stocked with everything we needed—iced latte fixings, beer, prosecco, and OJ for mimosas. It’s the little things that made it feel so personal. Every server we met at our meals was kind, hard working, and genuinely lovely. The flight in and out was a breeze—easy, scenic, and surprisingly fun. And with only about 20 guests on the island, it felt incredibly quiet and secluded, like we had the whole place to ourselves. Definitely do the fast track both ways - even if line isn’t long it’s chaos. Ambergris Caye delivered on every front—luxury, adventure, and heartfelt hospitality. We left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already dreaming of our return.

  Worth it!

  Ambergris Cay is such a wonderful resort! We had the pleasure of experiencing the sunset cruise, couples massage, personal bonfire dinner over the water, glass bottom kayaking and the hangover bar twice! The chef makes fresh and beautiful meals, and the array of options never disappoints. Luis was extra helpful during our personalized bonfire dinner. He assisted my partner with executing an extra special surprise. Along with his personality and friendliness, he really elevated the experience! Pedro had such a bubbly and fun personality at the hangover bar. He was one of the reasons we decided to do this experience twice! He suggested many wonderful pictures and videos that are now memories for a lifetime! We truly believe his talents in this field could be appreciated and executed with the marketing team. We would not have asked for a better island host than Victor! He was truly remarkable in helping my partner plan an extra special and personal surprise. He helped us personalize our entire stay to our needs and requests to make every experience seamless! Ayu from the spa and wellness team was so kind and helpful during our massage, but especially during our 3 morning yoga classes. She caters her teaching methods perfectly and will come and personally assist and guide you for your comfort and skill level. She made every morning bright and enjoyable. After talking to multiple other couples, we all agreed we would return!
