This is a good value and nice resort. The staff are so friendly and always willing to help you out. The pools are good. I wish they would have a designated adult pool as they do have a nice kid-style resort pool and it would be nice to have a designated area for adults to enjoy. We stayed in an ocean view 1 bedroom room that was on the side of the resort. We still had a nice ocean view that was relatively quiet (you miss all the pool noise) but have delivery and caretaking noise. The room was clean and comfortable. Sadly, the condo was not well stocked. I have been on so many other vacays to Maui and Oahu where the condo had beach items for your use. The kitchen lacked a lot of items and it didn’t even have a blender. They have decent outside bbqs but these are located near the tennis courts and lack a nice outside area to visit while you bbq or even enjoy your food afterwards. Overall we enjoy this resort and recommend it. I just feel a bit more attention and care can be put into stocking the condos and making sure the kitchen items are there for guest to enjoy some meals to help save some money throughout the trip.

Jul 24, 2025Costco Last minute travel deal choice
The phrase 'Know Before You Go' really pertains to this hotel. We stayed for 7 days, 6 nights in a junior suite, which included a king size bed and small kitchen. Housekeeping was not included. With having a tile floor, and the need for a good sweep to take care of the sand, housekeeping would have been appreciated. Two other suggestions that I have would be for a dresser for clothing, and a restocking of bath towels. We ended up emptying 2 kitchen drawers and using them for clothing. The problem was that when packing, we found little bugs in the drawer. Yes, we let staff know. I did not know when booking that the rooms are individually owned. Our room was 832. You may want to stay away from booking that room. Other rooms look nicer. We ate at the onsite bar/restaurant for breakfast. The food was okay, but the view of course helped. There are so many great restaurant that I would skip eating here. Parking was $10 a day. Never had trouble parking. There is a grocery store close, but the Safeway down the road has a much better selection, with similar prices.

Beautiful Stay in Kaanapali, but Disappointed with Guest Service We recently stayed at a hotel in Kaanapali, Maui, and overall, the experience was beautiful. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a stunning ocean view—waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunset from our lanai was unforgettable. The pool area was also fantastic—well-maintained with plenty of loungers and just steps from the beach. We spent hours relaxing by the water, enjoying the scenery and atmosphere. However, we did have one frustrating experience that left a bad impression. After a day out, we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room and called the front desk for help. Unfortunately, not only were we hung up on by the answering service, but we also got disconnected again when we called back and asked to speak to the front desk directly. After a long day in the sun, this lack of courtesy and follow-through was really disappointing. I was forced to ask my mom and her husband to cut their dinner short to come back and let us in. Despite that hiccup, we did enjoy our stay. We would consider returning because of the location, view, and amenities—but we hope the hotel will take steps to improve its guest service responsiveness.

The aloha suite was AMAZING! Loved the view and pools. Overall amazing experience! I do wish guests didn't play ball in the pools as I was hit by footballs multiple times in both pools. Just seems like a bad spot for aggressive ball throwing. Staff were great and very responsive. One night someone was chain smoking and we couldn't even open the windows, We called the front desk and they took care of it immediately! We will be back next year.

While this hotel has some positive aspects, there are also several serious concerns that significantly impacted our stay. To begin with, the pools and beaches are truly beautiful—easily a 10/10. Additionally, the staff were consistently kind and welcoming. However, there were major issues with one of the rooms booked by my cousins and their family. Upon arrival, the room had a strong odor of urine, and the sheets appeared to be both stained and damp, which is entirely unacceptable. Furthermore, the bed was infested with ants, which is especially concerning given the high cost paid for the room. The problems did not end there. Maggots were later discovered on the kitchen floor—an extremely unhygienic and disturbing situation. To make matters worse, when the toilet was flushed, it overflowed and nearly flooded the bathroom. Although the hotel did relocate them to a different room on the final day, the experience left a lasting negative impression. Due to these issues, I will not be returning to this hotel and cannot recommend it to others
