Great trip with friends.
My wife and I and another couple had a great experience at Azul! I'll go through some of the things that stand out. FOOD: We've done a few all inclusives in Mexico, and let's say, unlike mexico, there was always something very good to eat here. Breakfast was great with the omelet station ( because, you can't screw up bacon and eggs) For lunch, we always enjoyed the West End grill with chef Michael. great burgers and, surprisingly, a fantastic jerk chicken Caesar salad. We did not like lunch anywhere else. (They also have a coffee shop so you don't have to walk all the way up front for coffee at 7:00 am.) Supper go to was the Italian restaurant (fantastic steak!) And we really like the lasagna and cheese ravioli, and the desserts were the best. All the other restaurants have a couple of good things, but a few nights, we tried other places and just ended up at the end of the evening at the italian restaurant. (bare minimum eating the tiramisu and the canoli for dessert) ...but DON'T miss Saturday Jamacian night at Mohogany! Best jerk chicken and pork you'll ever have! BEACH: one of the Top 10 Greatest Beaches in the world A short walk outside your room, frickin' amazing!! But I will say the staff getting you drinks, especially the further you are from the grill area doesn't seem to happen ( i think they just get sidetracked with other people Grabbing them before they get to you) so just be prepared to get your own drinks if you are further down the beach, but you're never too far away from the backside of a swim up bar who gladly get you drinks promptly. The mattress pods are first come first serve And I suggest grabbing one. I talked to someone who does several resorts And they said those pods are a special thing at Azul and I have to agree. (took a couple of the best naps of my life lol) STAFF: Wonderful staff that bend over backwards for you. The blue name tag people will try to sell you a timeshare, but they're very respectful If you say no thanks. Drinks seem to vary by the bartender, so if something is not quite to your liking, they'll gladly try to fix it for you or remake it altogether. The only problem we had at Azul trying to get the front desk by phone, I found myself having to walk up to the front desk to ask a question because the phone would be busy or would just ring a few times and then go busy. ( On that note, know that BOTH GLASS DOORS of your sliding glass door move, and you can move the other side without knowing it, and your air conditioning turns off) Definitely the best all-inclusive resort trip of my life! We're aready to planning a bigger group trip in a year or two.

We are chill people, so we enjoyed this resort
The resort is not a 5 star! Definitely needs some renovations! We were first placed in a 2 bed room facing the buffet & bar. Not cool. We asked (andand were moved the next day to a third floor ocean front king suite, and then life was great! Beach was beautiful with a nice shallow swimming area. Room was clean, our housekeeper was fantastic at sneaking in quick and efficiently when we went for breakfast, so almost no random interruptions. Food was great everywhere we tried, room service food was fine and super handy to have as an option. Bars ran out of a lot of different alcohols. Keep your beach towels, they run out of clean ones often. Most staff was very helpful and friendly. Kaydene and Marion at the Mahogany buffet are the best!! Their friendly faces made our day each morning. Basically a nice small resort, with minimal bugs (if they are there they find me), I did have a few bites. The front path across the resort is super weird, the pools seemed fairly empty. We lived on our balcony with the spectacular view whenever we weren’t at the beach, which was most of the time, even in the rain! We truly had a fantastic week in a beautiful place and would go back for sure!

Just awful!!!
Rooms are old and need updating... way too basic... food was almost nonexistent... options poor,, menu the same everyday; staff offer no firm of help when they realise that's an issue. Just too much hype on social media about this property and no substance. Beach is great, of course, is Negril but the hotel itself. . Noppppe. Don't waste your time!

Amazing location, wonderful staff, great vacation!
We just returned from a week at Azul and had the best time! Our room had a beautiful ocean view from the balcony and we loved to rest out there on the lounger pod. Whether you love the local flavors or are looking for something a bit more common like cheeseburgers, pizza and pasta, there’s always lots to enjoy. If we tried something and didn’t care for it, we tried something else and kept our vacation moving. 7 mile beach is the best beach we’ve found in all our travels and those sunsets bring us back time and time again! What really makes this place though is the staff. KerryAnn and Indera made the best drinks. Marion, Kerriann, Rita and so many others made us feel welcome and cared for at meals times. Cheryl provided one of the best massages I’ve ever had at the spa (this is my second visit to Azul and second massage with her - HIGHLY recommend). Jermaine, our concierge, checked in on us every day and was a wonderful host and guide. This was a return trip for us so we were excited to reconnect with so many amazing people, including the warm smile and kind heart of Roxanne. If you’re hesitant based on others feedback, I encourage you to give this place a try, we have grown to love the people of Jamaica and this resort will give you the feel of the heart of this great place.
