Apr 30, 2025Why all the complaints!?
I feel like we stayed at a different place than everyone else who left reviews here. I was very close to canceling my reservation after reading all of the poor reviews but wow what a mistake that would have been!! The room was a Posh Suite which was on the ocean side of A1A and maybe that was the difference? Our room was amazing. Clean and organized with an awesome view. A short ride down the elevator and walk through the building brought you to the pool and then to the beach. We got chairs whenever we wanted. No issues with umbrellas or anything like that. The pool was clean as well as the beach area. Only complaint was that housekeeping didn't come by for 2 days. We had to call multiple times. I mean whatever tho. It's a hotel. On the beach. With pools. And drinks. Idk what everyone is complaining about! I'd stay here again for sure.

Pleasant stay. Possibly short staffed in all areas
Our stay was pleasant. Comfortable beds, clean, grounds beautiful and well maintained. Our party of 3 households all noticed the same thing. Staff spread thin. An air of being slightly abrupt and maybe a little frazzled. Trying to be pleasant but no time for pleasantness. One party pointed out Disney is busy too and large. No limited customer service there. Trying to get a hold of a real person on the phone is a challenge too. Would we stay again. Yes. Do I wonder if management staffs this very busy place at a minimum, yes. I do not think it’s any employee. They seem to do the best they can. So, yes, stay. Know it will be hard to reach someone unless you are there in person, and then it’s a wait.

Everything was awesome. I recommend 3 other families coming in May. Next time we are doing 10 days instead of 7. The staff, the food, the environment. Excellent all around. We been around the world but this was super relaxing. Maria took care of our room daily. The best.

Apr 25, 2025NOT a resort, this is an upscale Holiday Inn
I just got back from my stay at the B Ocean Resort. We stayed for 4 nights in a Junior Ocean View Suite. Upon check in, the lobby was filled with people and luggage as this seems to be a popular place to stay for cruise passengers. We were early so they offered to hold our bags in the conference lobby hallway while we waited for our room. We changed in the bathrooms downstairs which were filthy. We were tired and hungry from traveling so we went out to the pool to grab lunch and relax and it was a total zoo. One of the pools was closed for maintenance so I think the whole hotel was at the pool. We ended up walking down the beach to the Marriott to get lunch. They did call us when our room was ready which was nice and our room was ok. We had a beach view room but the windows were so dirty we couldn't see through them. We had a notice in the room that said the windows were being cleaned that day but 4 days later they still weren't cleaned. We mentioned it to the front desk but were told it was "out of their hands". Pretty big disappointment considering we paid for the ocean view. The staff at this hotel were all nice enough but I think this is just a case of poor management. The hotel is run down and they didn't clean our room until 3pm everyday. There are stains all over the hallway floors and the pool and the beach are a mess during the day. They don't have any staff picking up dirty towels or trash and by the end of the day it's just gross. The food at the beach/pool bar was horrible. We had breakfast one morning and it was decent. There is a $43 a day resort fee and besides beach towels, bottled water in the room and K cups I have no idea what this is for. The amenities are non existent. Overall, not a great stay. I am really surprised how many people give this hotel positive reviews. We chose this hotel because of the positive rating and the moderate price but next time we will spend the extra money to stay at a larger well known resort. This is an old hotel that was renovated years ago and it shows.

On our post cruise check-in experience was much better! Marie was very pleasant and helpful. Thank you Marie! The location of the hotel was good. Easily walkable to restaurants. Private beach was elbow to elbow lounge chairs. Not enjoyable at all! Umbrellas should be included in the hotel fees.
