Royal Level Restaurant
We have had several meals at the Royal Level Restaurant at the resort. Our service has been fantastic and especially Edgard and Jairo. Edgard was AWESOME!!!

This hotel need a whole make over
We have been going to the resort for 15 years and this is the first time I can say we will not be going back. Reservation out my name on every reservation and not the ppl I booked in there rooms so when everyone arrived it was a mess. Rooms need a update they have not been updated in the last 8 years. House keeping someone peed on our bathroom floor so I watched to see how long it would take to clean it up and it took 4 days. 2 of our rooms had to be moved water was coming from some place and they had a inch of water on the floor of there bathroom and had yet to take a shower?? We also asked for wash clothes and could not get any. They would turn around and send hand towel. We also had a safe that did not work and had to wait over a hour to have someone come and look at it. The bathroom drain would back up and we called and they came out to look at it and used a plunger and we were told it was fixed but the next shower it would flood the floor again. We were told by the room next door they had the same problem. As always to get a seat with shade is limited and some save both a pool and beach shade spot. This resort has the room and they need to add more shade covered spots at the beach to match needs. Pool towels this is the first time we have had to wait for towels and told there waiting on house keeping. They only have 2 keys per room buy some more towels. The entertainment used to be so much fun they have stuff at the pool at night and beach parties now it old music at the bar and bad shows in the ball room. Food this is a big change even in the last 4 years it has dropped in service and types of food. The buffet used to have great pastries and now there worse then Walmart there small and hard. Pancakes most of the time were cold and fruit limited. Beach cafe has more limited food and most are over cooked hamburgers. Specialty dinning we always love the Italian and this year a lot of the menu we were told was not available and felt like it was out of a can what we did get. Seafood place on the beach could never get our orders right and plates that we did not order were wrong. This can be scary as 2 in our group had a seafood allergy and they have always been good about asking and careful not to serve the wrong food to the wrong person. Wifi I always have to work some one vacation and I could not keep a signal and had to use the Donut place down the street. Over all for the cost of this resort its not worth it please check out the Riu.

Dinner at Kyoto restaurant
Dinner at Kyoto was the best night of vacation!! Jazon was our server and he was absolutely phenomenal:) Kept us entertained all night with his personality and attentiveness. Loved every minute of it and we will definitely be back!
